We were on vacation in Florida when I lost control of the right side of my body. I cannot see properly and I cannot move my right arm or leg. We are currently getting the extent of the damage sorted out and will report as further details become clarified.

I apologize for not writing sooner. I honestly was not able to get through, and I still can’t get through on some of the other posts. Don’t know why (electrical phenomenon).
A stroke is not a tummy ache, and you’re on nurse’s time, but from what is described, the higher brain functions probably won’t be affected, so as long as you can find someone to type for you, you still can write. We all wish you the speediest recovery, even me, believe it or not.

I guess I have been more of an expectator than an active participant for the past 8 years but reading this news hit me hard. It is weird how you guys don’t know anything about me but you feel so familiar that it is like a close friend is going through this.

Mr. David, I want to wish you a refuah shlaimah, a complete recovery. My grandfather, of blessed memory, suffered a series of strokes, the first of which severely paralyzed him and the final one left him in a vegetative state for several months before he died. I remember the difficulty of the physical therapy he went through, and I hope that you will be able to recover speedily and without great difficulty.
