YES, IT’S TRUE! AS OF THIS WRITING, “TIGERHEART” IS RANKED NUMBER ONE…
…in the category of “Books Written by Peter David.”
In general overall sales, we’re someone around thirteen thousand…
Curiously, it’s also ranked #7 in “Anthologies.” Go figure.

Hey, ANY number one is a good one, right?
Kudos!

Did you enjoy writing it?
Do people enjoy reading it?
There! You’re done. Have a mimosa.
Hey, it’s #3,410 in Kindle books… not too shabby!
PAD,
Congratulations! As far as I’m concerned, this is a big deal! As far as I could tell from your open reading at Wizard World, it is well deserved. Heck, if the book is that entertaining and such an obvious labor of love, you deserve to be the next JK Rowling.
Hmmm… JK Rowling writing Spiderman….
Groovy!
Always glad to see large numbers of people who agree when I find a book to be really good!
Congrats Peter.

Glad I could help 🙂
David, currently awaiting his shipment from Amazon
Can’t wait to read it. I was at the reading you gave last summer at the Cape Cod Writer’s Conference and got hooked.
Off to Amazon to order.
Half way through.. Is there or will there be a place to discuss the book? If so, could you point me to the link or what ever? might i suggest DOGLICKINGSELF.COM is available! at godaddy.com
haha..
News is all in how you spin it!
one word to make the book sell:
Oprah.
Send her people copies.
Ironically, I have not received my copy, even though I ordered it months ago, because, according to the Amazon.com email I received recently, something with my credit card means that the transaction could not be completed, even though I’ve been using that card all week.
So I missed getting a free copy at the convention April 20 (which at the time, I didn’t think mattered, since I ordered one on Amazon, though it would’ve been nice to get a sneak peek reading it), and now, I don’t have the one I ordered at Amazon.
Sigh.
Hahaha!
You got me there 🙂
Laura, thanks for mentioning that a Kindle edition exists. I’m drowning in physical books, so I buy eBooks whenever possible now.
Sony has an eBook version of Tigerheart available for the Sony Reader, so I’ll buy that one soon.
:^D

No argument there. But my understanding is that you don’t seek out Oprah; she comes to you. How this happens is apparently a mysterious, even unfathomable process.
So if you or anyone knows “Oprah,” by all means, get her a copy and talk it up.

Well, if anything, it appears Del Rey has done their work (or paid their fees) to get the book placed in the “New Releases” section. I saw the book in those secetions in both Borders and Barnes & Noble this weekend.
The big question is, though, can I get it autographed by Peter in San Diego next month or should I send it with a friend going to Shore Leave?
