Probably the most intense single issue of a comic I’ve ever written. Designed to completely screw with reader perceptions by making them sympathize with Black Mariah (kidnapper, blackmailer, and murderer) and be appalled by the Fallen Angel (our heroine who has saved the city, destroyed a demon, and blown up a ship filled with drugs). What in God’s name could possibly have happened to the Angel to make her so…souless? That’s revealed next month, but for now…whad’ja think?
