I wasn’t at comic con Saturday because I was cheering on Ariel and her Varsity bowling team at the County finals in Long Island. The top eight girls bowling teams in Suffolk County were competing. And for the first time in years, her team won the finals. Ariel herself finished eighth in the field of competitors. Having won Counties, they will next be bowling in the Statewide championship in Rochester the first weekend of March.
