He is just traveling right now and, for the most part, is off line.

But to hold you over, here is a picture of us at George and Brad’s wedding with Brad and George.

I want to remind everyone to play nice. So far y’all have been good while we have been away but some are starting to skirt the line.

    As for people not playing nice in the discussions, that happens EVERY SINGLE TIME there’s a post about politics. It would be wonderful if political passion went hand-in-hand with civility, but that seems unlikely with the posters here — or with the public in general — so I’d say the only way to avoid acrimonious posts would be to skip the political topics. Otherwise, I’d say get used to it.

  7. I’m very happy for everyone! From everything I’ve read today, it was a beautiful ceremony.

    A wedding is celebrating with friends and family and everyone deserves to have a good time without having to worry about the opinions and affairs of the whole world. Of course everyone will play nice, anything less would be undignified.

  8. Congratulations to the lovely couple. It’s amazing to me that this has happened, as I didn’t know that gay marriage would actually become law within my lifetime. When I read about how long Brad and George have been together, it’s quite beautiful that now they can actually call one another “husband”. It’s like an oasis of cold water after a long crawl through a desert.

    May Brad and George enjoy the most beautiful years of their lives yet to come.

  20. Congrats to the happy couple. It’s about time that things like this started happening. I’m very glad that loving couples like Brad and George can have their relationship officially recognized.

  24. Not on the side that we came in on but then we were on the opposite side of the courtyard from where a majority of people were entering. As far as I know there were no problems and everyone was respectful of George and Brad’s wedding day.
