First I’ve got a podcast at 2 PM for the Bat Segundo Show. Then I’m heading over to Del Rey to sign copies of “Tigerheart” for various promotional giveaways. And then I’ve got the preview screening of “The Incredible Hulk” at 4:30.
I’m exhausted and it’s still Sunday.

After what Marvel did for Iron Man, I’m not sure I’d want to see an advance screening for Incredible Hulk. 🙂
After what they did for Iron Man? You mean produce a film that have received almost unanimous raves from reviewers and fans and grossed $300 million? I’m not sure what more they could have done.

Aw man I am so jealous I can’t wait to see the Hulk it looks awsome! Unfortunately I will have to wait till friday afternoon. This is going to be a long week for me.
After what they did for Iron Man?
I should’ve said “what they did WITH Iron Man”.
And it was in reference to the fact that what folks saw in advance screenings was only 99.5% of what the rest of us saw. 🙂
As for the film in general, I’m holding big reservations on it. I just don’t get the feeling it’ll be another Iron Man, but more like a Spidey 3 or X-Men 3… or Ang Lee Hulk: a disaster waiting to happen.
Hopefully I’m wrong on this.
“I’m exhausted and it’s still Sunday.”
As someone who works 42 hours/wk in a (currently) 100-degree factory, I…uh… feel your pain.
I wasn’t planning on seeing the Hulk. But now in the revised ad campaign, they’ve got a clip showing Robert (Tony Stark) Downey having a conversation with Thunderbolt Ross (I’m presuming). I don’t know if that’s enought to get me to part with the cash or not, but it’s but me closer to “maybe”.
I was going to ask nicely for a simple thumbs-up or thumbs-down, but insteald I’ll plead with you to please come back with a non-spoiler review of The Incredible Hulk.
I await the movie with much anticipation.
I’m not going to discuss the movie in any detail–except to say that I liked it a lot–until the weekend when others have had a chance to see it.

Dont remember if you have answered this previously but are you writing the novelization of the movie?
Sounds like they made sure they had the film to show at Peter’s screening. Here in Phoenix, the film apparently didn’t show up in time for a Monday night preview screening and they told us to come back tonight.
Lee Whiteside
Yes, I wrote the novelization.

Wow, novelizations of both Iron Man and Incredible Hulk. Are you sure you don’t have a clone secreted away in the closet, PAD? 🙂
Caught Incredible Hulk last night here at Citywalk in Orlando, I really think this one will be the right start for the franchise, it a better Hulk movie than the last one (which I really liked as well, but this one has more Savage to it).

It’s actually a Skrull PAD managed to defect from the empire….not that I would know.
Glad to know PAD liked the movie, hope he posts his full thoughts by Sunday when most people will have seen it and final box office office results are in.

Ok, I’ve just come back from seeing it, and I really enjoyed it. I’d say quite a bit more than the Ang Lee film, which I liked as well.
I’d run down all the references, but I’ll wait and see if PAD puts up a thread for spoilers. 🙂
But, was there apparently a lot cut out of this film. Just going back over a couple of tv spots it’s like “Oh yeah, that scene is gone”.
Darn, I missed that Bat Segundo. Tell Ed hi for me. Too late.

Weekend is past I can not afford to see the movie but I would still love to hear all about it! *Waits patiently
