“People’s Court”air dates

Remember a couple months ago when I talked about attending a taping of “The People’s Court?” Well, my sister informs me that the episodes we attended are scheduled to air.

The first will be today, the 20th of October. Others are slated for October 26, 27, and 28. I have no idea if I’m at all visible. The case to watch for, for its sheer weirdness, is the bus driver who sued the elderly black gentleman, claiming that the latter had been abusive and beaten him up. And the attitude amongst the court was “Yeah, right,” until the defendant opened his mouth, wound up cursing out practically everyone there, accusing everyone of being racists, and threatened to beat up the bus driver again. I’ve no idea how much will make the final edit but, wow, talk about anger issues.

  1. No that was probably my ex wife…sorry I just wanted to point out my ex wife has anger management issues.

  2. I suppose all the seats for WWE wrestling were sold out?

My TV station runs one of these shows – “Judge Hatchett” – and if you change the “H” in her last name to a “B” you understand what we think of her and the show. Attending any of these courtroom shows would make root canal with a blunt toothpick pleasurable by comparison.

It’s like when word gets out that a real judge in your district has done something stupid, like insisting that all non-Christians leave the courtroom, or advising a husband to keep his wife barefoot and pregnant. “Who made this particular reject a person to sit in judgment over us?” we ask. Then, we remmber that we voted for him. Ouch!

Fortunately, we can vote for these TV judges with our remote control. (By the way, our aforementioned Judge is now running in prime time on one of our stations. It wasn’t enough that we made housewives, old people and sick kids watch her; we have to torture the rest of our audience.)

  3. I didn’t see you at all, nor was there the case with the bus driver. The three cases featured disputes involving the installation of windows, a German war helmet, and a rental car. Were you at those?

  4. does anyone know where I can see the case with the german war helmet??? I know that lady I have to see it again to make sure. Thanks ~Shanna

  5. Nope, I don’t know where you can see it, but my mother wears Army boots…. does that count?
