It’s scary, yet belivable. This big question is… who’s Batman?
MRG
Who’s Batman? Could it be…The Truth???
That’s unfair to the Batman rogues. In the end they are lovely people and at least they only comitted villanies in the comics, not in the real world.
Can I be Batman?
It’s simple, McCain would be batman, and Kerry would be robin, due to their respective physiques.
that’s….brilliant!
so who’s commissioner Gordon then? Bush Sr.’s got the physique….
That is simply the greatest thing I have ever seen.
Ronald Reagen would be Gordon, He deals with controversy and possible scandal (Batman), yet everybody loves him!
Bush Sr. would be Chief O’Hara, he gets the coffee for Commissioner Gordon, and speaks with the funny accent.
Hey,
Even though I’m a Republican, ANY opportunity I get to see Condoleeza Rice in a leather catsuit is A-OK by me!
Meow!
OK! I’m going to try and settle down now, but it’ll be really….difficult.
So who else was in the picture? I forget:)
Meow!:)
Halle be gone!
For me an example of “suspension of disbelief”. Thanks for sharing.
I have dibs on Robin… :p
Aaron McGruder did this gag in BOONDOCKS some time ago (with Bush as the Joker and Cheney as Luthor), but it’s a pleasure to see it so well executed…

I have dibs on Robin… :p
Oh the set-up, the pictures and alan saying he has dibs on Robin I can’t comment, maybe later. ROTFLMAO. Oh i gotta forward this to my co-workers. If I’m gonna go at least I’ll go with a smile.
I definatly like this picture and any others if you could find them.
… god that is funny!!!!!!!!….
…. and *gulp* true!
Brilliant parody! ROFL! Anybody know where one can download this?
Where to download? Click on the picture with your mouse, and Save As…
This is embarrassing, but my facial recognition skills aren’t great. I assumed it was Rice, can someone help me with the other three?
Catwoman = Rice
Joker = Bush W
Riddler = Rumsfeld
No idea bout the other one, rather clever though.
Where’s Karl Rove?
Could he be Mr. Freeze?
Penguin seems to be Cheney.
But what do we do with Ashcroft? (Yes, a loaded question.)
Colin Powell = King Tut
Ashcroft = Bookworm (since he’ll be burning library books)
Egghead = Paul Wolfowitz ?
I’m pretty sure that’s supposed to be Ashcroft as the Riddler, though it’s not often you see Ashcroft with a manic grin like that (at least, not out in public).
God, that’s funny! and Condoleeza makes a great Catwoman.
Did you know that John Kerry’s picture is on the twenty dollar bill?
I’m glad others are mentioning the Boondocks strip from several months back — the Bush/Cheney as Joker/Luthor image was one of the few pieces of artwork Aaron McGruder’s done that’s simply and utterly brilliant.
Of course, so is this one. 🙂 I still think Cheney works better as Luthor than as Penguin, but maybe Karl Rove gets the Luthor role. If we’re restricting this to characters from the ’60s TV series, then I think I’d shift Rove over into Egghead.
(And as much as I prefer Julie Newmar’s Catwoman to Eartha Kitt, I’m glad whoever made this went with the Kitt one. Using the Newmar Catwoman would leave you with … what, Laura Bush in the outfit? The mind doth reel.)
No one, of course, gets to be whoever the villain was Liberace played, since that would be perceived as too close to supporting gay marriage. 🙂
TWL
Robert,
Look again. The Riddler as pictured is Rumsfeld, not Ashcroft.
TWL
This is great. I thought Ashcroft would make a great two-face! Karen Hughes as Poison Ivy, but wearing LOTS OF VINES.
The only way these crooks are getting away with so much crime is because Batman and Robin left town. Yes, Clinton and Gore. The villians may have gotten the best of Robin, but that bunch of losers couldn’t beat Clinton!
Actually, I think Ted Kennedy would make a great King Tut and John Kerry as the Scarecrow!
Yeah, I know this is a pro liberal gáņg báņg, but what’s good for the goose is sauce for the gander. Besides I don’t like ANY politician that much.
That makes Hillary, as Marsha, the Queen of Diamonds, AlGore is Bane, and Joe Lieberman is Clayface. Nancy Pelosi would be the old witch that Marsha had with her.
hehehehe
John McCain would be Two Face.
That’s unfair to the Batman rogues. In the end they are lovely people and at least they only comitted villanies in the comics, not in the real world.
Can I be Batman?
You know, in the comics, Batman is an insane, obsessive-compulsive paranoid sociopath who likes to manipulate his friends and intimidate people and who leans towards violence as a way of settling conflicts, while stating that he doesn’t like guns.
Yeah, you could TOTALLY be Batman!
8^)
That is frickin’ brilliant. I nominate Tom Daschle for Commissioner Gordon, Ted Kennedy for Chief O’Hara, of course John Kerry for Batman, and John Edwards for Robin (I prefer Wesley Clark, but I’d rather not see his knees if it can at all be helped).
Can’t stop myself — gotta play this game. Howzabout Rush as King Tut, either Wolfowitz or Rove as Egghead, either Rove or Wolfowitz as Colonel Gumm (played by Roger C. Carmel in the Green Hornet crossover), and Ann Coulter as the Siren (originally Joan Collins). But the real coup de grace would be… Ralph Nader as the Bookworm! (I like RJM’s suggestion of Ashcroft, but I’d cast him as Louis the Lilac [the one Milton Berle played].)
TWL — absolutely right about the Liberace villain. That’s why we have Andrew Sullivan. 😉
EClark,
Ted Kennedy’s not a bad King Tut, but in terms of speech patterns and all I think he fits better with Art Carney’s Archer. You even get the whole Robin Hood “steals from the rich” angle if you’d like to see taxation that way.
Filkertom — a great list. We need Bill Frist in there somewhere, though. (Catwoman’s taken, alas…)
TW (Barbara Bush IS Ma Parker!) L
Tim — Oh, in my head Frist, Hastert, and even Colin Powell (and especially Henry Hyde) are just buffed-up henchmen. (Did you ever see the World’s Finest maxiseries, the one with the lame art, that had The Henchmen, the gang of ex-flunkies for The Joker, The Riddler, etc., trying to make it on their own? They’d fit right in.)
Rick Santorum and Tom DeLay, on the other hand, are between the two of them The Ventriloquist and Scarface….
Wow…that’s a pretty good photo there. Never thought about the administration as a rogue of Batman’s enemys, but, that’s funny.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!That is so frickin awesome .Quick somebody call the writers for BATMAN BEGINS we are going a whole new direction
with the movie.oh by the way the fact that i think Condy Rice is kinda sexy in a cat suit isnt gonna get me “detained” is it??
How about O’Rielly as the Liberace villain.
with his “spin zone”, I think he’d fit it perfectly! 😉
RJM,
Nah, not Bill O’Reilly. O’Reilly’s more of a Louie the Lilac kind of guy.
I was having trouble coming up with someone who’d map well to Chandell (the villain Liberace played, thank you IMDB), but it just came to me:
Sen. Rick Santorum, on in 5…

Frightening thought, considering the release of Fahrenheit 911 does that mean Micheal Moore is Batman?!?!?!?!?!?!And we thought Kilmer and Clooney were bad casting:)
“This Modern World” by Tom Tommorow
has been casting Cheney as the Penguin for at least two years now… i think as far back as 2000 but i’m not sure… http://www.thismodernworld.com/weblog/archive/2002_03_17_bloggera.html
and that’s rummsfeild there as the Riddler… and Kucinich would be a great choice for Robin…

It’s great to see a post from Peter that doesn’t slam the republican party. What a refreshing relief this is.

JoeV: I don’t get your reply.
Luigi Novi: I’m asking why would Jerome being a Republican preclude him enjoying seeing Rice in a catsuit?
Was it because the photo was seen as an insult?

Well, surprise surprise… a slam against the Republicans from Glenn. Who would have thought?!
Actually, Michael Moore would make a pretty fair King Tut….at least from the portly aspect. Ah, God bless Victor Buono!
For the record– I’m a Republican. Have been since I could first register to vote.
Nice picture.
But isn’t that a photo from the original Batman movie with “altered” heads?
If so, then that would make Catwoman(‘s body) Lee Meriweather, not Newmar or Kitt.
Otherwise: Meeoow! and LOL too.
