  1. Looks like Fox News is going to be awfully busy over the coming months. Litigation-wise that is.

  2. Because they’re not published by the same company, or edited by the same editor. Peter had to ask his CM editor for the page. Perhaps DC is more reluctant to bring them back.

  3. Actually, it’s doubtful that Fox will give two hoots about what a bunch of webpages do, unless they are making money somehow from calling themselves “fair and balanced”. Unlikely, that.

But it makes some folks feel better about things and there ought to be more of that sort of thing–stuff that makes people feel good even though it really doesn’t matter at all.

  4. No, I meant here, on this website. A FA reader feedback would be nice.

I *do* do that, every month. On this board, when a book comes out, I start a “Whad’ja think?” thread.

I can’t do a FA lettercol because DC has made a company-wide decision to replace lettercols with their general news page. They’re not going to make an exception just for me.

  5. I think it’s fair to say that the John Byrne message board does not belong on that list. I’ve been participating in a thread over there about Alan Moore’s ability as a writer, and my first post was deleted. Then the whole thread was deleted to resurface later. Fortunately, I am a bit tenacious and I reposted my original comments, and they’ve managed to stay up so far…

  6. I personally feel Fox is being almost as idiotic (note I said almost) about the words “fair and balanced” as singer/songwriter Prince was back when he changed his name to that dámņ symbol and started law suits on fan sites using the symbol because he supposedly copyright it.
