Peter’s been out of town (I’ll let him say why) so there haven’t been any posts this weekend from him.
I haven’t done my usual posting of BIDs in his absence because I was out visiting my mother and mother in law. And you should be doing so as well.
I could talk about the upcoming project… nah, you’ll hear about it soon enough.

But why would I want to visit your mother and mother-in-law?
Glad you’ve been doing well, Glenn.
Also Glenn, let’s not forget to mention Peter’s interview on the upcoming Hulk animated DVD June 17th

Peter’s plotting the overthrow of all world governments by leading a squirrel-army into battle, isn’t he?
Andrew..Andrew..Andrew…
It’s gonna be Hamsters not Squirrels. Ya must have missed the memo.

You project-tease, you…
Off topic, but I picked up PAD’s novelization of the HULK over the weekend and started it on Sunday. It’s Monday and I’m half way through. Boy if the movie is half as good as the novel, it will be well worth the $10 to see it.

On a side note… from Cinescape.com:
**The WB has renewed Joss Whedon’s ANGEL series for a fifth season on the Frog network — and it’s adding another vampire to the mix. BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER cast member James Marsters, who plays that other vamp with a soul named Spike, will be joining the ANGEL cast starting next season. The move was something that had been rumored about for the past month. Other cast members from BUFFY may also make guest appearances on ANGEL.
One ANGEL cast member who won’t be returning is Charisma Carpenter. According to Variety, the actress who plays Cordelia will likly not be coming back next season.
The WB will also be moving the show to Wednesdays at 9:00 PM, directly after SMALLVILLE. ANGEL’s ratings have ticked upward in the second half of this past season, and the move to being broadcast after SMALLVILLE is hoped to bump up the show’s audience base even further.**
I guess Cordy’s not coming out of her coma.
That’s interesting, because in the interview I read with her (from the recent FHM “Ladies of BtVS” pictoral…), they made it seem that she was rarin’ to go after she gave birth.
But this would also lend creedence to what Marsters said at a recent con. He opined that he wouldn’t be hired to Angel Investigations unless someone departed (because of the budget they had for permanent cast). And he also said that permanent is the only way he’d go (i.e. no guest appearances). Otherwise it wasn’t worth the damage to his hair. 😉
Hopefully she’s departing of her own choosing and not being forced out for his benefit.
Eschel, glad Angel dodged the axe…

That doesn’t make sense. Angel is already on Weds at 9(eastern). Smallville is on Tuedays at 9. So something is moving around, but what and when…

Smallville’s the one that’s moving to before Angel in Dawson’s Creek old timeslot.

From TV Guide.com – posted today (monday)
“BLOODY GOOD: Here’s some news that doesn’t suck: The WB has renewed Angel for a fifth season. The acclaimed Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff will hold on to its 9 pm/ET-Wednesday timeslot, but it will get a much stronger lead-in this fall when Smallville moves to Wednesdays at 8 pm/ET. Meanwhile, Buffy’s James Marsters (Spike) will cross over to Angel full time next season. “
Who are you?
The “Angel” news isn’t a surprise. It’s one of their best series (ratings-wise) and as for Spike, they were going to kill him at the end of the second season, but the writers loved him so much, they kept him in and made him a regular. They probably want to keep writing him.
I just wonder about the situation since Charisma Carpenter isn’t coming back. How they’re going to write out Cordy? Did she choose to leave the show? Will she be making cameos?
PAD was nice enough to send me an email virus!

Yeah, I know, the internet headers tell me it probably was just the old case of someone slapping his email address in the sender’s info. Ah well, still cool to be spammed by a celeb!

how are they goign to bring spike on angel since was dusted in buffy?
->how are they goign to bring spike on angel since was dusted in buffy?
it’s ANGEL, come on people, how many times have they resurrected the dead and supposedly gone? spikey was always my favorite so i’m thrilled he’ll be on angel but won’t the testosterone levels be a little high with only fred for female lead? (that’s what bugs me) i say ditch gunn, he’s gotten old and worn out as a character. also fred’s staring to wear out but hey who am i to say.

Regarding bringing Spike back. Think on this, Angel was supposed to fight in Buffy’s last apocalypse and as a reward he would become human. Seems that since Spike took his spot, he will be coming back as a mortal.. granted one with lots of history and one heck of an attitude..
I think that they will bring Spike back as a human. Remember that prophecy about a vampire with a soul becoming human? Everybody thought it must mean Angel.
