Had a good time at I-Con this weekend, despite the miserable weather that swept up on Saturday evening and remained all through Sunday. Did a bunch of panels, signed a few autographs.
It’s the first I-Con in a while that the entire family was there for, although there were almost no times when we were all together at the same moment. The major problem, as pointed out earlier, was they scheduled me for two solid hours opposite Harlan’s major talks on Saturday night. Bob Greenberger, however, made both of those panels go away, so that was nice.

So…buy any back-issues?
Good to see you there PAD. The panel with Walt and Sean Chen was excellent.
Now I must lose the stalker rep 😉
Any idea why Bob G stopped posting on the DC message boards? Lots of people think it’s cause DC wasn’t thrilled to see him quoted in Rich Johnston’s column–
I feel so silly, because I had no idea until the last few minutes of Sunday, that you were the creator of space cases! and you were there! >_<. Ah well. there’s always next year. I bet you get this all the time, but is there any way for me to get some of or all the episodes on tape? I miss that show so much, and have only seen a snippet of it in french when i was in canada last year.
Keep up the great work!
‘Twas a very good I-CON. I was able to catch both Peter David and Harlan Ellison, both of whom hosted excellent panels. (It’d been about three years since I’d heard Harlan speak — excellent, though I’d forgotten how much he wandered when talking.)
The weather was a disappointment, but at least it didn’t rain until Saturday evening. The SCA did manage some impressive slugfests during Saturday afternoon.
Can’t wait for the next one!
You’re a great guy to listen to at panels, I’ve been missing out on comic panels the last for Icons. That won’t be happening again
I-Con was great. I saw your family there and hadn’t realized what lovely young women your daughters are– particularly your two eldest! What hotties (no offense). They must be fighting the boys in Boston off with a stick.
Good luck with your work!
