The New Year came in quietly at Casa David. We did go to an early party at the local bowling alley which ran from 4 to 8 PM, which included disco lights and music. We were concerned that Caroline would be overstimulated by it all. Instead she found it all entrancing (except for the hour when she corked off). The only downside was our last game of bowling, when I opened with two nine-spares followed by three strikes in a row…and then they shut the lanes down right at 8. There’s nothing like being in the zone and having the game end five frames early.
We then went home, hung out, watched Cirque du Soleil on Bravo, ate some junk food, played Disney Uno, watched the ball come down in Time Square, and exhaled in relief that no one blew anything up there.
Hope everyone else had a safe New Year.
PAD

I hope that we can all cross “be thankful nothing blew up” off the New Year’s list of traditions before your youngest gets too much older. Y2K seems to have been off by a couple of years….
I think he was talking about terror attacks.
Happy New Year to all. 🙂
I hope that the coming year will bring (among other things):
1. More Sir Apropos Novels.
2. More Peter David B5 projects.
3. More B5 projects in general
4. More money sent by Peter Daivd to grateful fans (Hey, it’s worth a shot.)
5. More Peter David fans getting new girlfriends (also worth a shot.)
6. Alan Moore + Neil Gaiman + Jms + PAD = Universe gets detroyed + Mourned, Dreamt about and replaced + New one is highly plotted out + Lotsa puns about the whole thing (Anais Ninjas. Sheesh.)
Happy New Year
Happy New Year PAD

Alas I my house, something did explode this year. Alas, it was popcorn… so there was much rejoicing.
5. More Peter David fans getting new girlfriends (also worth a shot.)
I’m perfectly happy with the one I got. Well, except for the resistent to watching Star Trek thing.
A Happy New Year to all from the Left Coast as well.

Happy holidays!
Mutch like Moore’s Watchmen, there will not be anymore attacks in america. Aliens or aliens.
A pox on the bowling alley that would curtail a fortunate series of rolls! Sounds like a good New Year’s Eve. Mine was spent quietly: dinner in with a friend, then re-watching PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN.
What am I hoping for in 2004?
1) Health and prosperity.
2) The HELLBOY movie.
3) A better job.
4) Becoming a multimillionaire.
5) A PAD panel on politics or gay marriage that doesn’t degenerate into massive barrages of insults. (I think my 4th hope is more likely, though.)
6) fnord
7) STAR MUNCHKIN 2: THE CLOWN WARS.
8) A girlfriend.
9) The next Jenna Jameson movie (out this month!).
10) More great comics.
11) Avoiding more lousy comics.
12) Posting here.
My new year suxed. Boring as all hëll. I wouldnt have cared if they did blowup time square. Our gov. Over reacting as usual.
With all that security, no one would have been able to pull anything off any of the major cities.
and, I caught my mother’s cold. such fun it was. 😉
I spent New Years reading ‘Gods Above’..I’m not done yet, but it was the quietest way to ring in the New Year. I start Stone & Anvil in a few days…
New Years Wishes:
1)Issue #8 of TMNT Animated Series
2)My very own PS2
3)Everything else that I’ll think of later…
Question:
If Marvel or DC ever said to you, “Give us a list of any 3 artist you would like to work with, and we will make sure you’ll have one of them”. Which 3 would you write down?
I made a resolution,
I turn 21 in April, and my resolution was to enjoy being 20 to its fullest for the next 4 months. because I am fully aware that this is a time in my life I will be looking back on (might as well make it count)
I think I deserve that

Happy New Year all..
And for PAD, DC’s treatment of you has been named DC’s worst Idea in the Past 5 years by the comics collumnists over at 411mania.com

Happy New Year, Petey!! God Bless you, your family and Genis! BTW, what does Genis do to celebrate the New Year? 😉
Greeting and Felicitations!
Happy new year PAD, and happy new year to all. I also rang in the new year quietly, surrounded by family, which can be a most fulfilling (and healthy) pasttime.
I just thought I’d mention I picked up a subscription to Captain Marvel for this year, so keep em’ coming! Also, I just finished “Gods Above” and thought it was your best NF yet. Kudos!
Happy New Year to everyone!
Someone else with the “Greetings and Felicitations” thing… Too much Squire of Gothos methinks. *smirks*
Anyway, happy New Year, albeit slightly belated. C’est la vie.
I spent the entire day watching the Monk marathon. Exciting, ne?
Happy New Year!
You can’t be 74854 serious?!?
