Coming Soon: ‘The Hidden Earth Chronicles 1: Darkness Of The Light’

For the first time, the original novel will be available as an eBook (trade paper will also be available) with a brand new cover by J.K. Woodward. And in VERY short order, the long-awaited sequel will be coming out as well.

  1. Good Title? Check.
    Good Cover Art? Check.
    Established Author? Check.
    Part of a series? Check.
How will I pay for this book? Check.

Will this be from a larger publisher, or a Crazy 88 release?

  2. Woo hoo!! Alright!
Found the psiman series, books 1-4, last week up in a Tennessee used bookstore.

  3. Second book’s about to come out? I guess I’m finally going to have to blow the dust off that copy I’ve had sitting on the nightstand since it came out and actually read it.
    .
(Its sitting idle is not a dig at our host. I’ve been working my way through all twenty-ish volumes of New Frontier in the meantime….)

  4. Looking forward to the sequel. Wasn’t it originally titled “The Highness of the Low” or something like that? Why the change?

  5. I’ve got the hardcover of the first book, have to read it. Way behind in my reading.

The second one is going to be available as a trade right off?

  6. Awesome! I really enjoyed the first one in the series and I’ve been eagerly waiting to see where the story goes. I’m assuming it’ll be available both in print and on the Kindle? (I just got a Kindle Fire and I’d love for HEIGHTS OF THE DEPTHS to be the first book I *buy* for it, since I’ve only dowloaded a bunch of the freebies from Baen).

      1. So far, I like the FIRE a lot. It has an ANDROID operating system, which is really easy to use and familiar to me since my phone is a Droid.

I don’t have any other reading devices with which to compare the FIRE since it is my first tablet/reader, but I think it sets a pretty high bar.

  7. Nice…congratulations, Mr. David. I might end up buying the print version…sorry! A bit old fashioned that way, but the cover art is truly impressive. I can only wish my artwork was up that.

And by the way, nice post on the AICN talkback section in regards to the new JOHN CARTER trailer. Honestly, I tried to ignore most of the comments because I could not believe the stupidity of some of them.

Then I saw yours, and I breathed a sigh of relief. An island of sanity in a sea of madness. Thanks for that.
