We will be live blogging the last (thank God) debate

And by “we” I mean Kathleen, Caroline and myself.

Kath and Caroline have contributed in previous debates, but because the comments go so fast, I haven’t taken the time to attribute comments to either of them. That’s going to be changing tonight.

See, the GOP and Dems were inconsiderate enough to have the debate on my bowling night. So when it starts at 9 PM, I should be finishing up game 2 of a three game match and thus won’t be around to kick it off. So Kath and Caroline will be taking over this evening for the first hour or so, and you’ll be able to hear their opinions directly. Somewhere between 9:45 and 10 I’ll step in, but in the meantime you can thrill to getting, if nothing else, the views of two females on the debate first hand on the first woman candidate versus a misogynist. Be sure to swing by.

  1. Not sure I have the energy for another year one. Tired of seeing Trump lying and threatening people.

    1. At this point, Hilary can just play video of Trump from the previous debates and let Trump destroy himself with “I never said that”…

  2. 9:09 And right off the bat, the first thing out of his mouth is not to talk about future justices, but to complain about a current justice saying something he didn’t like.

  3. 9:09 Okay, so he eventually go to the Second Amendment and beliefs like being pro-life. Eventually.

  4. Look, guys: the whole point of abortion-on-demand (as opposed to for the life and health of the mother or to prevent a horribly defective child from coming into the world only to die in screaming agony hours later) is to keep her family, friends, Church members, etc. from knowing that she was ever pregnant in the first place.

What, then, would be the point of waiting until the pregnancy shows? Once that happens, the cat’s out of the bag.

Late-term abortions are almost never for reasons of whim or just not wanting to deal with bringing a child into the world, or hiding the pregnancy. Earlier abortions do that. Late-term abortions are for saving the life of the mother or at least in many cases preserving her ability to have more children, so if you don’t permit abortion in those cases, you’re effectively pre-aborting every subsequent child she would’ve conceived afterwards.
