Don’t Say I Didn’t Give You Enough Warning

Final heads up: My first episode of “Young Justice” airs tonight on Cartoon Network, 6:30 PM Eastern.

Also, my next (and so far, last) episode of “Ben 10” is tentatively slated for December 9. It’s a pretty major arc episode.

  1. I love it when things I love collide. YJ and Peter David together at last. And I don’t even have to run services tonight. Double YAY!

  2. PAD, do you happen to know anything about the updated Ghostfreak from Ben 10? Last I’d checked, he was dangerous to turn into because he’d take over the body and didn’t have a sun-protective skin anymore. But he recently appeared, with skin and fully co-operative. It’s very confusing when the show does things behind the scenes without telling the viewers (like the lockout on Alien X).

  3. Just saw the episode on my DVR machine. Good stuff! And, it must be nice to have ALL of Warner Bros. toys to play with. XD

Between the two most recent episodes, it feels like Young Justice is finally coming home. 😀

  4. Great fun; nice to see some old familiar faces (who we’ll probably never see again in the DCnU, alas!) Let use know when spoiler warnings are unnecessary for fuller comments.

  5. On some other sites, there’s a 24-hour window after a show airs. I kinda like that. And yeah, it’s killing me to not talk about spoilers.
    .
Major praise, PAD, for the… er… party guest list.

  6. Disappointment in that it appears one of my favorite characters from the comic series is apparently a one and done guest in the cartoon series.

    Otherwise liked the episode.

  7. Harm was amazing, interesting version of Secret.
Evil (yet vaguely familiar) Martian attacking Marvin, Brilliant.
LOVED LOVED LOVED the kid in the Superboy costume.
The entire episode was great, hope they ask you back to do more in addition to the ones you’ve already written.

  8. What, you couldn’t work in a paranoid android, too? You got a twofer of Marvins…
    .
Seriously, I LOVED the monster at the party. And that was a very specific sound effect for the roar… oh, I seriously lost it several times.

Just to myself, for my own personal satisfaction and in no way legally binding whatsoever, I’m taking the tiniest bit of credit for Ms. Martian’s form. And dámņ, PAD, it was perfect. Thank you for the episode, and the reminder.

If they don’t ask you for more scripts, they’re fools.

  9. I know it’s off topic it’s just been revealed that Neil Gaiman is an illiterate fraud and stole all his bestsellers, did anyone in the comics industry know of this?

      1. So, you wanna fess up which of Neil’s pieces you ghost-wrote, or do you have an NDA going?
        .
I thought it was too much of a coincidence that he publishes “Coraline” while you have a daughter named “Caroline…”

  10. Awesome episode, I’ve loved the show and been watching it with my roommate weekly. When Secret showed up he leaned in and asked. “Is that the real Secret?” I answered with that you wrote the episode so as close to real as we get. We were both very impressed.
