  1. Thanks for the heads up, David! I cannot wait to read the book. You read some of it last year at DragonCon and I was hooked!

  2. Go! Go quickly for your chance!
I was one of the lucky ones to get a preview copy at NYCC – a great adventure of a read!

  8. Derek, don’t you have any American Net friends who are not into fantasy novels or Peter David that could enter for you? (Just an idea.)

  9. I wish I could have made the giveaway open to everyone, but the publisher is sending out the books for me and asked for the US restriction.
Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that the copies of “Tigerheart” are now SIGNED thanks to Peter and Lisa! So good luck to everyone who enters!!!

  10. 1 I JUST WANTED TO THANK YOU PERSONALLY FOR THE PHENOMENALLY GRACIOUS WAY YOU TREATED MY NEPHEW AT WHAT WAS HIS FIRST CONVENTION (NYCC). YOU TURNED FROM A VIDEO INTERVIEW YOU WERE DOING AT YOUR TABLE, GREETED HIM WARMLY, GAVE HIM A FREE & AUTOGRAPHED COPY OF TIGERHEART AND COULDN’T HAVE BEEN NICER. IT MEANT A LOT TO ME. I ALREADY KNEW YOU WERE A GENTLEMAN BUT YOU WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND EVEN FOR YOU. JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW. P. S. GREAT JOB ON X-FACTOR. THEY SHOULD LET YOU WRITE UNCANNY OR ADJECTIVELESS X-MEN.

  11. Not a problem, Armando. I hope your nephew enjoys the book. As for my writing gigs at Marvel, I’m perfectly happy doing X-Factor, but I appreciate the sentiment.

  12. X-Factor is the best monthly X-title today. More people should be reading it.

  13. Hey Peter I’m reading Iron Man it’s really good I haven’t seen the movie I’ll prob wait for the dvd.

  14. If you can financially handle it, do not wait for DVD. See it on a big screen. Some of the sequences will lose a ton of their effect.
Same for “Speed Racer.” Moreso, actually.

  15. Er, sorry, I know this is a totally off the piont of this thread, but did I miss the “Out now/What did you think of” thread for Fallen Angel #26, or has it not yet been started? ‘Cause I thought it (#26) was/is quite possibly the best issue of the series to date and I really need to share that with someone.

Dang! Contest open to US residents only.
Hey wow, between this and the very real possiblity that Barack Obama will be the next president, I now have *two* reasons not to move to Canada.

  18. Hey, I entered the contest. By the way, just finished reading your Doctor Who story, Peter. Loved it. Can’t we please have a Doctor Who novel or audio written by you?

  19. I have just gotten into the first couple chapters of the Adventures of the Boy, and am liking it very much.
In some ways it echos my own growing up.

  20. I am lucky enough that I just read it this weekend! A local bookstore asked me to review the ARC they received for the book review house I am with. It was my first Peter David story, and it won’t be my last. Wonderful book – made me wish I was a child again…
