UPDATE: Turns out I forgot (big shock there) that I’m to be at the CBLDF table Sunday from 2-3 PM. So I’ll only be at the Marvel table from 3-4 on Sunday. The list has been adjusted accordingly.
So here’s where I’m going to be during San Diego. So none of you gets to say, “Ooooo, I’d have come by to see you, but I had no idea where you are.” Appreciation to Dave Seidman for actually sifting through the newly posted schedule and finding out where the hëll I was, since–as I usually do–I agreed to stuff, neglected to write it down, and then forgot where I was supposed to be.
THURSDAY
12:00 – 1:30: Claypool Comics, booth 2102 (n.b.: I’m first arriving in San Diego on the 10:40 AM plane, so this is going to hinge on everything arriving on time and how fast I can get over to the site. I will be there, but don’t be shocked if I’m a little late.)
5:00 – 6:00: Autograph Area AA5, in connection with the panel Kicking
Serious Butt
6:00 – 7:00 Room 7B, for the panel Kicking Serious Butt
FRIDAY
12:00 – 1:30: Claypool Comics, booth 2102.
2:00 – 3:00: Room 7B, for the panel The Future of Star Trek Publishing
3:00 – 4:00: Room 7B, for the panel Beyond “Once Upon a Time”
4:00 – 5:00: Autograph Area AA3, in connection with the panel Beyond
“Once Upon a Time”
SATURDAY
12:00 – 1:30: Claypool Comics, booth 2102.
2:00 – 4:00: Marvel Comics (I don’t know what booth they are)
SUNDAY
12:00 – 1:30: Claypool Comics, booth 2102.
2:00 – 3:00: CBLDF
3:00 – 4:00: Marvel Comics
Interestingly, I told DC several times I was interested in signing at their booth and no one ever called me. I told Marvel exactly once and they called me immediately. So take from that what you will.

Rats!
We’re unable to go again this year. (Fingers crossed for our “annual” vacation to be possible again next year.) And, just based on the titles alone, those panels sound interesting.
Have a great time! Wish I was there. 😉
Could be that you didn’t do as much writing for DC as you did for Marvel…. Just a hunch. But I did love your work on Supergirl. I have an issue of Supergirl #65 that my husband, thanks to Leonard Kirk and Robin Riggs, appeared in as the villain. You had signed it, but it was lost in the sale of his comic book collection to a dealer, who couldn’t find it to return to him after he realized it was there.. Sigh. Good luck with your panels in San Diego. As always, wish I were there….
Peter:
That 10:40am flight wouldn’t be the Delta connecting from Cincinatti, would it? We may be on the same flight, as that’s when I’m supposed to get in as well…
Mr. David, if I run into you at Comic-Con it’ll be by accident. Two of the staff from TOON Magazine (which hopes to be in print once again this year) will be covering every panel involving animation. Even in that limited venue we’ll be swamped.
It occurred to most people that last year’s con was “too big.” It will be bigger this year.
Marvel’s got a booth this year? The past couple of years, they’ve been conspicuous by their absence…
I do wish you were going to be at the DC booth, though. Then I could get both of the autographs I’m after this year at the same place – yours on the “Fallen Angel” trade, and of course Wendy and Richard’s on “The Searcher and the Sword”. Ah well, guess I’ll just have to hustle around the joint again.
Incidentally, the cute, stacked black chick at the volunteer booth is my wife. Anybody who’s there, feel free to stop by and say hi! 🙂

it can only mean that Marvel wants you to write the Hulk again! w00t!
…and this, boys and girls, is how rumors get started on the Internet 🙂
Knock ’em dead, Peter! Say hi to everyone for us… maybe we’ll make it in ’05…
Will not be able to go (though I continue to hold out hope that perhaps one day I will be able to travel out to one of the “major” cons).
Anyway, the panel “The Future of Star Trek Publishing” sounds very interesting to me. What are the chances of anyone (not necessarily PAD, though that, of course, would be welcome) posting a quick summary / review of this discussion? I would love to hear more on this particular subject…. 🙂
Good luck and best (albeit jealous!) wishes to everyone attending the San Diego con this year!
What he hasn’t mentioned, of course, is the 5:00 Sunday item:
“Get Elfquest tattoo.”
I couldn’t make this up. Here’s the link.

Kudos to PAD — or condolences — or … something.
