  1. Well to answer the question what is RSS you can go to Whatis.com, but to save all you Peter David fans the trip:

RDF Site Summary (RSS) – also referred to as Rich Site Summary – is a method of describing news or other Web content that is available for “feeding” (distribution or syndication) from an online publisher to Web users. RSS is an application of the Extensible Markup Language (XML) that adheres to the World Wide Web Consortium’s Resource Description Framework (RDF).

  2. Glen,

What were we supposed to see when clicking on the link. All I saw was what looked like HTML source code.

  3. Capable of handling both… the page looks like it’s working now. I’m getting 20-word excerpts of the last two entries and a link to the archives page.

  4. You know, sometimes I just can’t stand the controversy this website generates.

  5. Wow! The LiveJournal RSS feed is already watched by 43 (now 44) people!

    Ðámņ that’s quick.

BTW – thanks so much for setting this up, Glenn!

  6. Oh, since there appear to be a number of LiveJournal users watching this, I thought I’d mention other comic-related RSS feeds set up on LJ:

    various_sundry (CBR columnist Augie DeBlieck)

    mark_evanier

    rodrigo_baeza

    comicsworthread (Johanna Draper Carlson)

    journalista (The Comics Journal)

    FYI.

  7. Yay! The LJ feed is awesome, but I have a question … Neil Gaiman’s feed shows the entire entry, whereas PAD’s just has the first sentence … is there any way to get PAD’s whole entry onto my friend’s list, so I don’t have to click to another page? I am, after all, a lazy bášŧárd. 🙂

  8. And yet another to spam a blog. Go away. And take the Shrouded One with you.
