To see if the actual spoiler system works, highlight the following phrase: Darth Vader is really Luke’s mother. Luke’s father was really the sled. If this were an actual spoiler, many of you would be very confused right about now.
So we all can post spoilers with a little more impunity, please surrond your spoilers with <font color=”#bdc4df”> and </font>.
Put down your pencils and pass your papers forward, this was only a test.
UPDATE: The problem of the color in spoilers has been fixed– except for yours, Saddam. Bad enough we have an orange alert… do you know how many oranges we’ve had to squeeze today?

Thanks for the tip!
Hopefully I won’t get pounded on too hard for brandishing evil spoilers 🙁
I also hope that I didn’t ruin anything for anyone who didn’t want to know anything with my uninformed spoiler posting.
I’m confused.
Spoiler Test.
GREAT IDEA!!!
Didn’t work.
too bad it isn’t working or is it?
All this does is use basic html to change the color of the text so that is the same color as the background. So if the blog is properly accepting html, this should work: SPOILER WOULD BE HERE. Just testing.
Chris
Oh, well, not working.
Wow, that spoiler is hard to read, even after you swipe…
Well, others have tried and failed, so I may as well, too. kekeke.
My pants are home to a squirrel army.
If it doesn’t work for us, it may be that only the site adim (PAD) is able to use HTML, and us lowly users aren’t capable of acessing it.
I wonder if the options could work with the italics and bold letters though? If that part works, well then, at least that’s one thing that could probably work out well.
For someone like me who is barely computer literate enough to use the basics of the Internet, this is not a spoiler protection system I am comfortable with. The test worked fine when I highlighted the sentence but I am already sure that I won`t use the system myself.
What is wrong with the good, old fashioned spoiler warning and spoiler space?
If this new system is becoming mandatory at this site, I simply won`t talk about spoilers here in future.
This looks remarkably like the Inviso-Text used in the Aint It Cool News website. Maybe they both use the same color invisible ink?
To: Karem,
Move the rest of the weapons materials out of Bagdad to the secret underground bunker in my hometown of Tikrit. No one will look for them there. And don’t worry, no one can see this message.
Saddam.
Does not work in NN4.7
The words ‘Spoiler warning’ work just fine though – why add icing to the steak?
Excellent – great idea, thanks for this.
Testing, testing,
1 2 3
For those of you, like me, who may be slow learners when it comes to HTML, there’s a lovely cheat sheet at WebMonkey. The computer is your friend! Don’t be frightened! Unless there’s a virus. If you use your computer when it’s infected with a computer virus, you’ll catch the virus, get very sick, and your brain will no longer function. Really! I read all about it in the Weekly World News!
Thanks for fixing the spoiler system, Glenn. And it’s good that you are squeezing oranges–that way you won’t get scurvy. Because Vitamin C prevents scurvy. Cheers,
Chris
Will this system work at all for people on non-graphical browsers? I don’t really care about spoilers much myself, but it should at least be brought up…
