Julius Schwartz was admitted to Winthrop University Hospital over the weekend with a case of pneumonia. We wish him the best for a speedy recovery. We’ll post more as we hear more. (Thanks to Harlan Ellison and Alex Jay Berman for the info.)
Where’s Peter?
He stayed an extra day in Philadelphia, rather than deal with the lousy weather all the way back to Long Island.
But in the meantime, and barely on topic, you might want to look at the new Spider-Man trailer. Wheeee!
PETER’S LAST THOUGHT FOR THE NIGHT
Why is it that when someone says, “I could care less,” no one ever asks him to quantify just how much less he could care? And if they did…how would you measure it? What is a single unit of less care?

THE RETURN OF SPYBOY
For you Spyboy fans, Dark Horse has scheduled a new four-issue “Spyboy” series for later next year, which I’m in the process of writing. Since I tend to treat every Spyboy outing as if it’s the last one (because whoever knows anymore?), this time we’re going all out. Time has passed, and this time Alex Fleming (aka Spyboy) will be going to his senior prom, graduating high school, learn the truth behind the identity of his mom, and go head to head with his newest and ultimate opponent: Spyguy.

PETER’S LAST THOUGHT FOR THE NIGHT
Actually, this isn’t my thought. But since the subject is “inner peace,” it somehow seemed appropriate. Kath got it off a dollmaker board she’s on. Read it and may peace be with you:
“The way to achieve inner peace is to
finish all the things you’ve started. I looked around to see all the
things I started and hadn’t finished. So, today I have finished one
bottle of white wine, a bottle of red wine, a bottle of Baileys, my
Prozac, a large box of chocolates and a quart of beer. You have no idea
how good I feel. You may pass this on to those you feel are in need of
Inner Peace.”

FALLEN ANGEL #6: So, what’dya think?
Out in stores today. You know the drill.
PETER’S LAST THOUGHT FOR THE NIGHT
If a tree falls on a bear while it sh*ts in the woods and there’s no one around to hear it, is the Pope Catholic?
