…and the reviews are beginning to come in for Captain Marvel. Peter is either too modest to link to the reviews, or he still fears the attempt will cause the website to explode again, so it falls to me. Look here and here. If you have any others, post them in the comments section and we’ll move them up front.

Meanwhile, some people are declaring victory. Forgive me for having my doubts…

  2. Didn’t buy any of them, but I flipped through the first few pages of PAD’s one on the shelf… I kind of want to go buy it now. Didn’t at the time because of lack of funds. But it looked really good.

  4. By the way, having read Captain Marvel #1 I can say with great confidence that it’s the best book in the competition. In fact it gets my vote for best comic of the week. Nothing else I read was better. Peter, Chriscross, Soto — awesome stuff.

  7. Glenn, you might want to update the CBR link in the front page. It simply points to the column, which has changed now, instead of the specific column.

    Oh, and CM #1 was one of the best books I’ve read ll month (and I got three month’s worth of comics plus a big back-issue shipment this month, so that’s a lot of things, with quite some quality among htem).
