Peter, in the past you have expressed astonishment over the fact that people care about what you have to think or say (though grateful because it allows you to have a job you love). To give you another example… I am only able to watch Doctor Who when it’s on PBS. The episode “The Wedding of River Song” is finally coming on this Friday, and I still have a 10/13/11 printout from your 10/2/11 posting ‘Cowboy Pete Attends the Wedding of River Song’ waiting to be read. This is for Caroline: Caroline, many years ago, when I was just a little bit older than you – 11 – I was in your shoes. My mother had a stroke. For me, it was confusing, it was scary for a while, but we made it through. She got physical therapy, and lived a long full, life afterwards (until she was 89, which is a respectable old age for anyone.) Many hugs for you and your family.
For the rest of you: Hurray for the rehab – it makes all the difference!

Why am I NOT surprised that you you are doing so well and so fast in your recovery. Keep up the geat work and of course you are still in our thoughts and prayers. Other than buying Peter David merchandise I wish there was something more that I could do. Wish I owned a charter bus or something…
I’m trying out Peter’s ebooks to get my fix presuming he’s got a long road to recovery, but at this rate he could be back producing before I finish them… hmm…
