Wait no longer. You can now purchase either the eBook version or the paperback through the same site.

Nice!
Question: Any chance of an eBook version of the Psi-Man series down the line? I loved Main Street DOA and I’d like to read the others at some point.
I don’t own those books, so it’s not really mine to reprint.

Ah, shame. Was it a write-for-hire project?

That’s exactly right. It’s a series that was created by an editor for the company (long gone) that was done for them.

Pod version? As in iPod? Does this mean the Kindle version can work on an iPhone? (I think I asked this before, but I don’t recall the answer, and can’t find that thread.)
.
And if not, why is the paperback $15.99? Isn’t that more along the lines of a hardcover price? Aren’t paperbacks usually like six or seven dollars?
.
Btw, Peter, I enjoyed the first chapter, and I’m printing out the next two from Facebook right now. 🙂
POD = Print On Demand. Basically, there’s no print run or stock on hand; when an order comes in, a book is created. These are generally more expensive because there’s no savings from large print runs. In the one POD project I’ve been involved in, the company doing the fulfillment (not Amazon, so they may be different) has a base price for the type of cover, binding and a per-page price. After all of those costs are covered, there’s probably a commission to Amazon to do the fulfillment, too.

It was indeed answered, Luigi; yes, you can download a Kindle app onto an iPod or iPhone.

The paperback is $15.99 because, as Jan says, Print On Demand has certain built in costs. It’s not like we print up 20,000 copies and thus have a low per unit cost. Also, there are certain sales avenues open to us if the book is at $15.99 as opposed to even $14.99, i.e., there are certain booksellers who will offer it at the slightly higher price point.
.
I’m offering the eBook at $4.99 at a time when lots of people on this site stated they’d pay $10.00 for it. So I think I”m being more than fair about the price points.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh.

Okay, got it, thanks. 🙂
I grabbed it for my brand new Kindle. I can’t wait to eDig into it!
Great! And if you like it, be sure to post a review.

I ordered the paper version of the book (yes, I’m old fashioned that way) and I’ll email the link when the book arrives, gets read, and gets reviewed. If anyone’s curious about the reviews up now, it’s the Armchair Critic thearmchaircritic.blogspot.com Current reviews include the movie HORRIBLE BOSSES, the new Selena Gomez album, and the book XXX 30 PØRN-STAR PORTRAITS — and all three were reviewed by me!
I shall! And if I don’t, I’ll remember J. Whedon’s words from the Serenity DVD:
“If you don’t like the movie, this is a time for quite, silent contemplation.”
