Very Nice!
Looking forward to reading this.
Just out of curiousity, are you going to be having your BID collections up for sale as ebooks through Crazy 8?
uh huh
“A newt?!”
I got better.”
SOLD!

Electronic only? Or will it be available as a real book?
Both via eBook and Print On Demand. The latter will naturally be more because the profit margin is so narrow.

How would this ‘Print On Demand’ work for somneone such as myself in another country? Would they then need to throw in shipping charges and border duty and the like? Not being deliberately thick here, just not used to the concept.
You’d be ordering the POD through Amazon, so I figure it’s no different than whatever shipping requirements you typically pay if you’re buying a book on line.

Oh, good. I thought it was just ebooks, but I’m definitely up for buying via POD. I am e-reader-less.
Mr. David,
It was a good teaser chapter. Really looking forward to the full story. I did, however, have an issue with the format on my Kindle. The last page of the prologue jumped to a bigger font size then the preceding pages. Then the last page of the chapter was also a larger font size than the pages before it.
Did this happen to anyone else? Just wondering.
Robert
We know there are some font glitches. We’re in the process of working it out.

You said the second darkness of the light book will also come out through Crazy 8 will that be POD and any chance of a POD in hardcover?
The only way we’d do “Hidden Earth” in hardcover is if we used Kickstart to do a limited signed edition.

I can’t afford it right now, but I’d definitely be interested in the hardcover.
also you’ve said before the reason why there aren’t any new apropos books was because no publisher was interested in publishing sequels when they don’t have the rights to the first three.
I hope you would consider putting something out through Crazy 8
Lemme guess… you wanted the company to be called “Infinity,” but one of your partners glanced at the logo and said, “it looks like some sort of crazy eight” and it stuck? 🙂
.
In any case, congratulations! I’m looking forward to buying and reading this.
I am an occasional poster here and a long time fan. I also happen to post over at Bleeding Cool, and would like to apoligise for the crappy reception that you were given there with the Crazy 8 post.
We are not all obnoxious and rude there. I was glad to see Rich covering this there.
Crappy reception? Gene, it was ONE GUY. A guy who’s had a mad-on for me for twenty years. How pathetic is that? And the saddest thing is, I had to wrack my brains to remember who the hëll he was. I literally haven’t given him a thought in years. Plus notice that he promptly shut up when Corey showed him he was indisputably wrong. It’s pretty sad.
.
Aside from him, the response on Bleeding Cool has been completely solid, with lots of terrific and astute questions. You’ve nothing to apologize for.

Great!
Great first chapter, Peter! I hope this new publishing venture will be a great success for you and your business partners. Hurry up July 8th!
I thought I had seen the Arthurian Legend told just about every which way that it could ever have been told and lo and behold you have found another way of doing it. To be perfectly honest I’m a little bit hesitant about this book, I’ve always been a bit of a student of these legends for as long back as I can remember and it’s been my experience that major deviations and reformatting of great source material has a way of not working out. That being said, Mr. David, you have never disappointed me with any of your works and I don’t expect you to start now, so I’ll be reading it very shortly after it’s publication.
The book is now available at amazon for $4.99. The link is near the top of the right column of this website.
