Kath, Caroline and I just came back from visiting with my folks and my sister. We basically had as many David moms in one place as we could manage.
Hope everyone else did as much for their moms as they could today.

Since my Mom’s birthday is May 6, and she has an identical twin sister, they were both over today, along with my sister’s family for a combination celebration. I got an Oreo cake from the Cold Stone Creamery yesterday, and had them write, “Happy Birthday and Mother’s Day, Mom!” on it. (I should’ve though to put “and Zizi” on it, though.)

(“Zizi” is a familiar version of “zia”, which means “aunt” in Italian.)
.
Happy Mother’s Day, everyone!
Here’s hoping Kath had a great Mother’s Day. I actually spent a good deal of the weekend with my mom, which was very enjoyable for both of us.
In the UK Mother’s Day was 2 months ago, guess we love our Mother’s more . . .
My mom wanted to sleep till noon. I didn’t make as much noise so she could do so. However, even with her sleeping pattern there were still picnic baskets in Jellystone Park.
Unfortunately, my mom passed away 3 years ago, so I couldn’t do anything for her. I tried to make up for it in giving my wife a great Mother’s Day, though.
