Vote for Madrox!

MONDAY UPDATE:  I just tried voting and it seemed to go through.  Anyone else want to take a whack at it, see how it goes?–PAD

Voting ends Monday on the “Pick three figures to be in next year’s Hasbro Marvel Legends line” that includes trench coat Madrox as a choice.

Why, if you think that we’re just going to put up a link suggesting that people vote multiple times for Madrox the Multiple Man, currently appearing in X-Factor, well… that’s only because they don’t have a Stephen Colbert action figure. And that’s probably a good thing.

  1. I can’t vote. It says I’ve already voted this session. That’s a little strange, since I’ve never been to their site before.

    1. I got that same message. I have never been to the site either. Makes me cry a bit. I do enjoy the legends line, though I still prefer DC direct.

  5. And I so wanted to vote for Madrox, the Contrictor, and Valkyrie….but I got the “server error” message, too.

    I still say that there should be a Madrox Multi-pack–two Jamie bodies and an assortment of swappable heads with different expressions.

    Sadly, I was also unable to vote. Stupid Hasbro! I hope they extend the timeframe with all these problems… and I never realized Bag-Head Spidey had an FF uni.

      I have that comic and was very excited when that costume was an unlockable in a video game some years ago. Then I got a job working on the team that ported that game from the Playstation to the Dreamcast. Neversoft, makers of the Playstation game, hadn’t put the Kick Me sign on his back, so I asked an artist on my team to add it. I was very happy to contribute that little detail the the accuracy of a portrayal of one of my favorite comics.

    2. Sure, yeah. Remember the context: Spidey ahd gone to FF headquarters to learn about the nature of the black suit. Upon discovering that it was alive, he freaked and wanted it off him immediately. Reed used sonics (I think) to remove it, leaving Peter in his shorts, desperately covering his face. They gave him an FF uniform they had lying around and a paper bag for his head.

      1. Yep, Reed used a sonic gun. He just had one hanging in a wall sconce, ready to grab within arm’s reach (arm’s reach for Reed, meaning down a couple of hallways.)

        I’m betting he also has fire guns, ice guns, lightning guns, chocolate guns, and 247 other types of guns mounted to the walls in the FF building. Just in case.

      2. Heh, I never knew the context. I always kinda figured he had to leap into action and didn’t have his costume handy, for whatever reason (I’m betting he doesn’t go to the beach very often, between the Spidey underoos peeking out from beneath his bathing suit and still cleaning out his socks from his latest fight with Sandman…)

  11. I’d vote Bi-Beast just for PAD’s Hulk issue he did with him/them.

    But when Madrox wins, I hope they have an alternate “classic” Madrox version in his bodysuit ala his first appearance in FF.

    1. I have an old 90’s action figure of him in that suit. It’s painted blue and gold instead of green and gold, but it’s still that suit.

  13. Hey, PAD, do you generally get a free action figure of the characters you write or have created? Or do you have to buy them like the rest of us? (I guess that leads me to ask if you DO collect action figures! Especially of the character’s you’ve worked on or created)

  14. Jamie Madrox should be his own accessory in the packet. I can’t think of any reason anyone would want only one of him.

  15. I can’t believe that Terror Inc is an option. Has he had a recent appearance (as in, the last decade) that I’m unaware of?
