Btw, speaking of things coming out tomorrow, my first published comic book artwork will appear in Dynamno 5 #22 tomorrow. It’s a one page, four-panel cheesecake sequence, but it’s my first published artwork in a comic book, and hopefully, it’ll be the beginning of greater things to come.

Although, this DOES explain the numbering gap in the previews.

WOLVERINE: FIRST CLASS is where it’s at! The issue was TOO CUTE for WORDS!
Really loved panel 4 of the last (story) page. The only flaw was that it wasn’t a full-page shot.
(Okay. The rest of the book was fantastic, as well. But that one panel made me super-happy.)
Just out of curiosity, how were the art chores split? Did Marco handle the Madrox/Layla future scenes and Valentine handled the present scenes (or vice versa)? It would’ve been nice if the art credits had been more specific.
I agree. Anyway… the present scenes from issue 41 to 45 are made by me ( Marco Santucci). 🙂

thanks so much for this issue. i don’t want to spoil the ending, so just thank you. the x-men, mutants — they’re used as this analogy for the queer experience but rarely deal with the obvious connection directly. really, i guess i don’t have many heroes i can identify with, hardly any in mainstream comics. i don’t think i’m alone. the degree to which fans have read into the relationship featured in this issue proves that, i think. we’re just grasping at straws. so i wanted to thank you for what you wrote. it convinced me to pick the book up after having left the x-family for a while. i also wanted to ask that you keep shatterstar around. i’ll be sticking around if you do. thanks.
Which cover is the one on the bottom left? I know the top right side is the cover from a couple issues back but I can’t place the bottom one. Or is it interior art?

Was it awkward for you to do the kiss between Rictor and Shatterstar, or did you just not really care and just drew it?
Very nice Issue 🙂 the great scene at the end of the issue was very cool. I like Rictor since Issue 1 of your great X-Factor Run. I hated the Shatterstar Character. But since his appearance in the X-Factor Series, i like him… very cool artwork and i hope he will last in the ranks of X-Factor beyond the Cortex Story Arc. How the different scenes play out is cool arranged… it was sad, that Monet and Syrin were not in this issue, but I think the next Issue will have a big fight scene between these two femme fateles. I look forword to Issue 46 😀
Was I the only one confused about Doom? We see him in his full armor, and his assistant fully intact. Then we see him as a decrepit old man in a wheel chair and his assistant is falling apart. Then after Layla tells his story, he is back in his full armor and robe sans wheelchair. And when Shaw and Falcone are talking, he is on the monitor still in his armor and robe.
I thought maybe we were seeing him as he thinks he is, but image on the monitor in the office doesn’t make sense in that case.
Or maybe this is one of those things that will be cleared up in a future issue, but I just didn’t know how to read that part of the story. It did not seem to be a mystery that was being set up.
Any clarification?
I love Shatterstar and Rictor, they are all the reason why I even read this series. Well, more like I saw a picture of them kissing and I got it all to see how that happened. I just really hope they get more story in the later issues. Like…maybe a date or something, they’ve been through enough, they could use a break…and it would be nice if they say the l-word to each other.
