Len Wein’s Fire

I really don’t have anything to add to any of the reports about the house fire that decimated (literally) the home of Len Wein and his family, except to say that at least they’re still with us, so thank heavens for that.

Fallen Angel Omnibus

IDW has just released the omnibus edition of “Fallen Angel.” It contains the first twenty-one issues in one handy sized package and it looks really nice. If you haven’t been reading the series, this is a great way to get into it. It includes her origin, a three part guest shot by Billy Tucci’s “Shi,” and a young woman who looks a lot like Linda Danvers.

It could have been Narn opera.

I-Con This Weekend

I-Con is more problematic of an endeavor this year. As opposed to previous years when it was held entirely at Stony Brook campus, this year I-Con is at three different locations spread out around Suffolk County. All of my panels are at the Marriott Islandia tomorrow.

What’s Coming Up in X-Factor (plus Stash Wednesday)

It’s Stash Wednesday.  What’d you get today?

Also, I’ve decided that I’m going to take the opposite approach to promoting X-Factor from what I’ve been using in the past months. Instead of keeping the lid on, I’ll push specific events.

In upcoming issues, Layla goes toe-to-toe against Doctor Doom and Monet gets naked and gets it on with Darwin.

Be sure to tell all your friends.
