Is it odd that one cover bills it as the SENSATIONAL SHE-HULK and the other call it just plain SHE-HULK? And two different logo treatments? I know I’m a design nerd, but doesn’t that confuse the brand a bit?

She Hulk has been my most loved comic since Don Slott’s first issue. I’ve been a fan of your work since I started paying attention to comic book writer credits but you have some big shoes to fill.
I do like the way Slott set up your run and I enjoyed your Supergirl,Captain Marvel and YJ runs from beginning to end and X-factor and Fallen Angel are among my favorites today so I know you’ve often writen stuff I enjoy but … man, big shoes.
p.s. the Apropos books are pure gold.
I have never read an issue of She-Hulk before, Peter. Will I really be able to follow this relatively easily? I love your books and want to pick this one up, but I’m wondering how much of it will be over my head.
You should have no problem following it. I mean, yes, there will be points in the book where you say, “Wait, WHAT just happened?” but those are intentional: People who have been reading She-Hulk since its inception will have the same reaction.

Now, my first thought upon reading this was “I wonder what Byrne, who used to write She-Hulk back in the day, will think of this?” MwahaHA!!! Then again, who knows, maybe he’s changed. He did do something unexpectedly cool during the recent uproar over those Michael Golden commissions, after all.
Speaking of PAD penned book, anyone know when the last trade of Friendly is going to hit? I love reading FNSM and Fallen Angel in trades so I can take ’em all in a single shot. (X-Factor I need my monthly jolies of, though.) Oh, and I read the Wonder Man trade recently – actually alot darker and kinda sad than I thought it would be (the cover does seem to imply some level of wackiness), but I dug it.
I haven’t read any She-Hulk since the first series. Looking forward to Man-Elephant, Grappler, etc.

I know that this is the exact wrong place for it, but I have no idea how often you check old threads, so I’m posting this here hoping that it will catch your eye.
I am aware of your policy of not reprinting your CBG columns in this space, for the very good reason that you want to give people a reason to buy that magazine.
I’m asking you to reconsider in the case of the column that was just printed in CBG, the one dealing with your weight loss.
It was much more visceral, had more of a punch to it than what you posted here, and it gave the actual method you used to lose weight.
This being a free site, there’s a better chance that it will be more widely read than in the CBG.
It’s your column, your site, and you already do a huge amount of public service writing. I hope you’ll consider it, though. If you can get just one overweight fan to give up soda and cut their portion size, it’ll be worth it.

Jeez! Just when I was planning on dropping the book since Dan Slott was leaving!! And here I am getting drawn back in. She-Hulk will remain one of the few Marvel titles I buy.
Glad to see you on She-Hulk. I recently started reading it so it getting my favorite writer is even better. I actually have your first issue of She-Hulk (Sensational She-Hulk #12) which was the first She-Hulk I ever bought and made me want to keep getting them. Now I can’t wait for this issue.

The Deodato cover looks like she’s breaking the fourth wall. I wonder if that means anything about the story, or if it’s just a nod to earlier incarnations of the character.
I’ve never liked She-Hulk. Which is odd, since I’ve always wanted more females to get important roles in comics. There’s just something about her that always rubbed me the wrong way.
That being said, I’m only picking up one book a month now–Thor, after being out of the game for a couple years. I’m expecting to give this one a shot, and maybe, just maybe, I’ll learn to love the She-Hulk.
I’ve been reading She-Hulk since John Byrne, and I always thought She-Hulk worked best as a humorous character. While I’m hoping that some of the silliness goes away, I still want a chuckle, and I know you can write funny.

So what’s the deal with the popularity of the Marvel Zombies? (I ask because of the zomnbie variant cover.) There was a time when heroes were supposed to be good and symbols of what was great about humanity. Then there was a time when they were perfectly willing to kill those bad enough to deserve it but still be heroic (Wolverine, Punisher). Now just about every month there are stories where these one good characters have become unstoppable celf-centered murderers and cannibals. WTF?
Yeah, thats why its so awesome. Marvel Zombies Universe is 100% wrong, that’s why its so entertaining.
