First off, Happy Father’s Day to all concerned.
Second, on the off-chance that people actually read this website to find out about my writing endeavors, I thought I’d mention that not only is KNIGHT LIFE out in the stores even as we speak, but it got a starred review in PUBLISHERS WEEKLY. This is the second original fantasy novel of mine to be singled out for that higher level of recognition from PW (the first being SIR APROPOS OF NOTHING), so I’m on kind of a roll.
Here’s what PW had to say, in part: “Arthurian legend gets another kick in the pants with this rollicking rewrite of bestseller David’s first novel, originally published in 1987. Extensively updated and lovingly revised, this hilarious romp in today’s New York features a cast of zany characters, zippy dialogue and enough action and plot twists to satisfy most satirical fantasy fans.” The rest of the review goes on to summarize the book, but hey…go check it out for yourselves.

Cool! Glad to hear that PW gave the revision a thumbs-up. I just finished reading my copy a couple of days ago, and am now salivating in anticipation of the sequel, “Dead of Knight”. Many thanks for re-crafting such an entertaining read.
KET
I read the first version of Knight Life, and I think I’ll probably check this one out as well.
I may be in the minority, PAD, but I check out your site every day! Sure, there are times when it’s difficult to get here, but I manage it.
Congratulations! I can’t wait to read it. I loved Howling Mad, and I’m waiting for my special order of Sir Apropos to come in at Border’s.
BTW, I just got back from Heroes Con in Charlotte, and I picked up a whole bunch of Supergirl issues! For some reason I didn’t pick this title up, but I’ll be up and running in no time.
I enjoyed this book tremendously and howled at the one pop culture reference concerning Buddy (or was it Elvis?) and Arthur very much. (Being vague for the sake of spoilers.)
Thanks for writing such great stories.
…uhm, sorry about the multiple posting thing. I kept getting an error message. Really, I did!
I think its safe to say that we are all interested in your writing endeavors. My copy of “Knight Life” is awaiting me in my apartment complex’s rental office. I’ve already pre-ordered “Woad to Wuin” through Amazon. Does anyone know if that Sir Aropos short story that Peter wrote for Dragon magazine has seen print?
I also wanted to recommend a non-Peter book that I think Peter fans would like. Its called “The Eyre Affair” by Jasper Fforde. It helps to have a little knowledge of English literature to get all the jokes, but I think its wit and SF/fantasy plot points will appeal to fans of Peter’s work regardless of how much you like British lit.
