I’m going to begin using the comments section of this page to post about updates made to the bibliography. This will make it easier to see when the page has an update from the sidebar on this site. Also, there is an RSS feed for the updates/comments on this page. Feel free to post bibliography-related comments on this page as well, but I may delete them after a time so this page does not get too long.

  • Corey Tacker says:

6/25/2010 bibliography updates from PAD’s recent Q&A thread:
    .
Hidden Earth Chronicles Book 2: Highness of the Low has been written but is not scheduled for publication yet.
–The next Fallen Angel miniseries, Return of the Son, will most likely start in late 2010.
–PAD is doing at least three episodes of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien. None have aired yet.
–PAD and Kathleen wrote a Halloween-themed Ghostbusters one-shot for IDW, due in October.

    • Wolfgang Iser says:

What happened here with Hidden Earth vol. 2 and 3? I just have read vol. 1 and found it great? Did it sell so low? It really would be a shame if this project would be cancelled. I would rate it in the category of King’s Dark Tower or Lord of the Rings.

  • Stephen Otis says:

When will the next Star Trek New Frontier novel be released?

  • Corey Tacker says:

Out this week (and last week):
    .
Masked, a short-story anthology edited by Lou Anders, featuring the story “Head Cases” by Peter and Kathleen
    .
Fractured Fables, a hardcover comic anthology from Image featuring a story of the Little Mermaid, by PAD
    .
–Dark Tower: The Gunslinger: The Journey Begins #3
    .
    –X-Factor #207

  • Corey Tacker says:

Details about PAD’s comics based on Disney’s Epic Mickey video game were announced at Comic Con today. There will be six 8-page “Digicomics” for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch that serve as a prequel to the game. Also there will be a 64-page graphic novel based on the game, released digitally and in print.

  • Corey Tacker says:

    Updates for 8/6/2010:
    .
PAD’s episode of Ben 10: Alien Force, “In Charm’s Way,” will be out on DVD August 24th, as part of the Vol. 8 DVD set.
    .
A trade paperback version of the Year of the Black Rainbow novel is now available.

  • Cornell Downs says:

I have anxiously awaited the publication of the next book in the The Hidden Earth Chronicles series. It’s gratifying to learn that it’ been written and is scheduled for 2011 (hopefully early 2011).

When will we see MacKenzie Calhoun introduced on the big screen?

  • Sydney Thatcher says:

I personally don’t care about the reviews for “Darkness of Light”, but I do know that I need the second book. I feel like I have been waiting a little long on this one. The spiritual themes have captivated my interest, whether they were intended or not.

Please…any word on the outcome of this series?

  • Sydney Thatcher says:

Apparently I am not good at reading the “comment” sections on websites…

…found my answer. Looking forward to publication.

    Thanks.

  • Rudi says:

    Hi Peter

Been around for while and have followed some of your work through Incredible Hulk, Fallen Angel and at this moment, the Dark Tower comics. So what can I say except great work … keep it up … you are one of the people that continually remind me why I collect comics. I know there’s been some die hard Stephen King fans that have had negative comments about the Dark Tower comics. I say, to each his own. Treat every medium in its own rights and don’t set yourself up for disappointment by trying to compare a movie with book, or a comic with a book or a comic with a movie. Look at it for what it is and in the case of Dark Tower a blend between a brilliantly written story and perfectly executed artwork that has it’s roots in the mind of a brilliant author … although I do hope (and from experience have faith that you will) write better endings that Mr King, who sometimes appears to have run out of pages and was forced to conclude a story for the sake of meeting a deadline. No disrespect intended … he remains a brilliant author … as do you.

Anyway … great work … keep it up and thanks

    Rudi

    Hi Peter,

Hope you check this from time to time!
Pronto Comics is a collective of amateur comic creators in the Tri-State area. We meet once a month in NYC to discuss our various projects & host guest speakers to discuss breaking into the business. Previously we’ve had editors from Marvel & DC speak at our events.

Our group is a big fan of your work & we would be delighted to have you speak at 1 of our meetings. If you’re interested please contact me via email & we can discuss a fee or a donation to the CBLDF. We meet the 1st Thursday of each month.

    Thanks either way,
