Wow. That must be awesome. You lucky devil.
Wishing you sunshine and no winds. Have fun!
That’s pretty honkin’ awesome! Who else is there?
Wildcat
…Okay, officially jealous.
>
Not because you’re in the parade, or getting to help with the Spidey balloon.
>
I’m jealous because you’ve got a possible chance to hang with the Power Rangers. No. Really. I’m jealous. I’d love to see those costumes up close.
Hang with a Power Ranger? Dude, fifteen years ago I HIRED a Power Ranger.
.
PAD
Really? Which one?
…

…

SO jealous right now… (goes off to gaze forlornly at the Q-Rex and Astro Megaship)
Walter Jones, the original Black Power Ranger, for the TV series “Space Cases.”
.
PAD
I’m so glad they managed to rescue Al Roker. :p
Technically– Spider-Man was the first Power Ranger.
You mean the Japanese Spider-Man show? I think Goranger may have preceded it.
Awesome. Hope you have a good time. 🙂
My wife said she thinks she saw you on tv! Have a great Thanksgiving!
I just saw the Spidey balloon on NBC but couldn’t pick PAD out of the ground crew. The balloon was two spaces behind Miss America with a police band in between, presumably to provide security.
Steve
And close behind was a dance troop of little fat guys from New Orleans into which Peter and I (and I suspect a lot of others on this board) would have fit perfectly.
Steve
Now that’s just not true, man.
>
…I can’t dance. 😉
.
🙂
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!
Why are you wearing a giant lobster bib with two white breasts on it?
Ah yes, Papa Spider-Smurf. One of the lesser known Amalgam characters.
That is awesome! Probably the best walk you’ll ever have (except the walk down the aisle at your wedding, and possibly charity walks).
BTW, will there be a discussion of THE MUPPETS here?
One of my few regrets about cutting my cable–no local channels, and, thus, no parade for me. (My apartment building seems to exist in some kind of transmission “hole”, at least where TV frequencies are concerned–I can’t pick up a single local station via antenna.)

I gotta ask, is your television an older set? It might not be able to read the digital signals the broadcasters switched to a few years back. Cable automatically turned their digital signals into something an older model could ‘read’, but without the cable you might need a converter box… or a new tv.
I worked yesterday, so I watched the parade by recording it on DVR. Yes, fast-forwarding does make it more enjoyable imho. everytime a marching band came on, or ann, matt, and al, VOOM!
That is awesome! Hope you and everyone else had a great Thanksgiving!
Hi Peter. I caught you on the CBS broadcast on my DVR. I just have to figure out how to get it OFF. As soon as I do, I will send it to you.
You look like Garden Gnome Spidey in that first photo.
GRATS! on walking the route!
While I did not see you, I did see the spidey float.
Is that Bill “Wild Bill” Wichrowski standing next to you on the left side in the second photo?
Looks like him.
Anyhoot, grats again!
