At some point, Barry Manilow morphed into Martin Short. Seriously: Slap a spikey-haired wig on Short, and he’s a dead ringer for Manilow. Am I the only one who noticed this?

I was in Vegas last month where Manilow was performing and looking at the add I though the same thing!
I can see it. “Copacabana: The life of Barry Manilow. Starring Martin Short. Directed by James Mangold”(The guy who did Walk The Line.
Manilow looked like an escapee from the Mos Eisley cantina. It was hard to decide who looked worse, him or Paul Reubens.
BTW, how funny would it have been if the Mášŧûrbáŧìņg Bear had appeared on stage during Pee Wee’s bit?
I’ve actually always thought that! When I was a kid I used to confuse the two of them.
Has anyone ever seen them in one place at the same time?

Nope, watching The Tonight Show last night, I thought Manilow looked uncannily like Martin Short too.
Also, thanks to Stephen Colbert, I am incapable of seeing Barry Manilow without the bellow of “MANILOWWWWW!!!!!” running through my mind. Although I can restrain myself from performing the accompanying wave of the fist.
I can just see Manilow coming out, “Give me a C, give me a bouncy C….”
Actually, what I noticed while watching Manilow singing was how much his hands were shaking. Could he be in the early stages of Parkinson’s Disease? I haven’t read anything regarding that, but anything is possible. He is almost 66 years old.
