You’d think he would have seen this coming. Spider sense, yeah, right.
What did he do?
supposedly he got in a fight with someone.
Isn’t that was Spidey always does?
That was supposed to say ‘what Spidey always does’.
Are you telling me J. Jonah Jameson was right?
article here:

JJJ is going to totally love those pictures.
Wow, I just read Hollywood Station by Joseph Wambaugh (great book). This is exactly the kind of stuff that happened in the book.
Only one question remains: Threat or menace!!!
I’m just wondering what he’s doing in Los Angeles! Is there a superhero convention going on over there?
He’s a menace! A costumed menace!
Now that I got that out of my way, out in California some actors make a living, or supplement their incomes, by dressing up as costumed/licensed characters, offering to be photographed with tourists, then accepting any tip given. (It’s illegal for them to actually charge somoene for a picture.) The documentary CONFESSIONS OF A SUPERHERO is about four actors who do this, portraying Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the Hulk.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this captured Spider-Man was doing something like that.
That ain’t the real Spidey! Where’s the big red spider emblem on the back of his costume??
The red spider emblem will appear if you buy the 3.99 version of this picture.
Confessions of a Superhero is an interesting documentary (while he can be a bit loud at times, “Superman” has an honour code that he sticks to and which has probably kept him out of trouble). But while agressive panhandling can’t be ruled out entirely, at this point it appears that Spider-Man and the guy he attacked knew each other.

Given that the other guy was dressed normally, I’m betting he was the Chameleon. This is his modus operandi. 🙂
“(It’s illegal for them to actually charge someone for a picture.) ”
Speaking as a tourist, believe me it happens. 10 bucks, I think it was.
Well its technically illegal for them to officially charge it but its not illegal for them to not take a picture with you if you aren’t the type to ‘tip’ for a photo.
Meanwhile, somewhere high above the city, the Master Planner cackles with delight and plots his next move…
It would see this neighborhood was NOT friendly to Spiderman
But, you know, that is exactly what a home made costume by a high school kid from Forest Hills, NY would look like.
But that’s got to be Flash Thompson impersonating him again.
Thats wierd.. Peter Parker happens to be Los Angeles on assignment at the same time Spiderman is there.
Coincidence?
Sigh … another clone …
