Attending the Writer’s Guild awards on Saturday night, I encountered several cast members from “30 Rock.” Then, at the convention, I encountered another. Scott Adsit who is not only hilarious on the show, but is also one of the producers/writers/performers in the late, lamented “Moral Orel”

I remember being surprised to learn not only that Scott was involved with MORAL OREL but also played the barely-closeted repressed homosexual father. I thought the show was sometimes funny, but often *way* over the top. (And someone else pointed out that it’s a lot like SOUTH PARK, with Orel acting like Butters as a goody-two-shoes who seems to keep the same bright-eyed optimism while everything goes to hëll around him.)

I got 3 Madrox shirts off of Ebay. there is a guy who just prints em up and sells them on there. I bought 3 from him.
I haven’t seen any Interviews with Mr. David on any sites from NYCC that makes me a little sad.
Is anyone going to be using Arcade any time soon I’d like to see more of him.

There was an announcement that PAD will be writing one of the two Halo mini-series that are coming out. This is probably the mini that he teased us with earlier.
My brother works in the videogame industry and only buys comics that are based off of game properties. So far, the only comic he has said was truely great was the Halo mini written by Brian Michael Bendis. I informed him that he is about to get another fantastic Halo mini!
It appears that Halo is the gaming property that is getting heavy-hitter attention from the comic industry, and this is a good thing. The story in the actual Halo games is exciting, and the fans are loyal and dig collectables based on the favorite game. Seeing as how PAD has experience with Sci-fi and space epics, this is a natural fit.

I noticed that Tuesday’s USA Today had an article on the convention, first time I think I’ve seen it getting that kind of coverage.
But, if I’m wrong, I’m sure I’ll be informed about it, and soon.

I was at the IDW panel where you were double-booked with the X-Men panel and had to leave early. You told us the situation as you left, and since you were wearing that shirt, I started to say, “But aren’t you Multiple Man?” but the moment passed. Ah well.
I met Kathleen and Caroline on Saturday, and they were great.
