For those of you who wonder when Peter is going to be on the left coast

He is currently in LA attending the Wizard World convention this weekend.

Tell him that his wife said ‘Hi’ if you see him. *grin*

  1. Any chance of your husband traveling to the windy city this year? Perhaps doing book signings for that there upcoming book?

  2. i was supposed to work as a volunteer there this weekend, but my week has been to tiring. i was really looking forward to meeting PAD. he is one of my favorite authors. if i feel up to it, i will go on sunday. will he still be there then?

  3. Got to meet him today. Got 4 of the Hulk Visionaries signed, bought two scripts, and his book on comic book writing.

Third time for me to meet him, and he’s been great every time.

  4. I got to hear Peter read from Tigerheart last night. What a wonderful (and funny) book! (At least the first two chapters, anyway.)

  5. Hello,
Totally not related to the post, but I just finished Beyond Dishonor. Duuuuude, Janeway is my favorite captain. Duuuuuuuuuuude! I’m going to have to get into writing this stuff myself to prove that, indeed, dead people can command star ships, be guest speakers at the academy, and provide wise guidance at Starfleet headquarters. 🙂

  6. Had a blast with Peter and the fantastic Todd Nauck this weekend.

PAD and I geeked out about Andorians together.

    Life is cool sometimes…

  7. Just realized this was posted for LAST weekend. Shows how much I pay attention 🙂

  8. Man, Peter really ripped into that kid that was asking about “big changes” in the upcoming X-Factor/She-Hulk crossover!!!

  9. It wasn’t a kid, it was a guy, and I didn’t “rip” into anyone. I wasn’t angry at the question or the questioner. If anything, I’m angry at the sort of marketplace we have created where everything has to be “And their lives will be changed forever!” That’s not the fans’ fault; that’s faulty promotion.

I know, Peter. Just messing with you. It was a kid, though. He’s 16.

The “everything changes!” promotional style is sometimes exciting, but it’s often disappointing and scary when I actually LIKE the way things are.

  11. The problem is that I have zero sense of humor about such “messing with.” Because believe me, there are plenty of people who will pull one moment out of an entire weekend where I’ve busted my ášš to make the fans happy and use it to paint me as some sort of insensitive jerk. It’s one of the reasons I almost never do store signings anymore.
