Better than landing on the trash.
Dave was one of the nicest, most approachable guys in the business, and made this ex-interns experience worth having.
I remember him signing a Byrne-esque drawing I did of Nightcrawler in the my wannabe artist phase- his signature read
“Dave Cockrum….didn’t draw this!” lol.
