I’ll read it right now. 🙂
Good stuff. It’s not my favorite of your comics, but it is keeping my interest and I’ll get #3.
That said, Fallen Angel’s one of my must buys.
I think it’s a pretty fun idea, and I’m enjoying it a great deal. One of my favorite bits is the fact that Sue Storm is always invisible, yet we’re able to see the baby growing inside her. That is very cool.
Maybe a little creepy, too, but still cool.
It’s the bottom of the 8th with a man on and Delgado up with no outs. I fear this may be the inning your Mets take the lead for good.
Ðámņ good read. I am enjoying the story and tibbits you are revealing about the characters. On the other hand, I am glad that this is only a miniseries. I think that I would grow tired if it was unlimited.
My thoughts on issue #1 were that it was fun but by far not the best writing I’d seen from you Peter. (Not even the best writing I’d seen from you that week.) A lot of the things that didn’t make sense or seemed a little off were cleared up with issue #2 and I’m sticking around for the ride.
That being said– it wasn’t my pick of the week this week. It came in third– of four. You faced some stiff competition and were ultimately beaten by 52 (Ambush Bug Returns) and X-Factor.
Definite improvement. The heavy doses of (somewhat forced) narration and backfill hurt #1 a lot, while pretty much everything in #2 is showing what IS happening, not what WAS.
Still not really liking the art, though.
This is not an attempt to hijack this thread(?), but…
I’m hoping it’s just an oversight, but you haven’t mentioned Fallen Angel #9. Thouroughly enjoyed it, and it validated my theories on the time since the fall and who Sirocco is. Please return to discussing 1602 #2. Thanks.
Another attempt not to hijack, but PAD’s Battlestar Galactica book is now out as well. It’s in trade paperback.
