OKAY, THAT’S DONE

Finally had a chance to go back and finish up with the questions from the “What’cha wanna know?” thread. The problem was that, in going through the comment responses, I had to slog through all the junked/spam comments that are hidden from view. Believe it or not, there was–on average–twenty to thirty junked/spam comments between each actual comment. So it was slow going for a while until I finally figured out a way to work around them.

No more questions or follow-ups on that thread, please.

  1. You didn’t answer my question… 🙁

    I didn’t consider it as spamming…

  2. Well you didn’t answer if you were planning on hitting up san diego comic con, which i’d like to know as well. But you might not be able to answer that. In which case I know the answer.

and pascal’s question involved some doctor who episode.

  3. Thanks again for the Q&A. And thank you for being lenient about the one question rule.

  4. Thanks for finishing up that thread Peter! I was confused at first as to why it was only partially done. Hopefully you soon won’t have to answer questions that you already have…..

    🙂

  5. You didn’t answer my question as well… 🙁

It was the question about Angel (the tv-series) and what you would like to have seen in an imaginary season six/

  6. Oh, I notice that all the posts on that thread from RUDESLP at June 21, 2006 11:55 AM to Sue at June 22, 2006 02:38 AM have not been answered. I see that some are simply comments and not questions, but there are quite a few questions there too, like Rudeslip’s question about how Captain Marvel was renamed and then killed in Thunderbolts.

    Other unanswered questions:

Sean Scullion at June 22, 2006 09:35 AM
Giving Brian a party at the Brunswick Zone for his fifth birthday soon. Any advice from the Bowling Davids I can give him?

We now know that the Hobgoblin 2211 is actually a girl, was this a nod to your original plans with the Goblin 2099?

  7. Thanks for taking the time. (Even though I’ll admit to be disappointed that you’re not interested in doing a B5 script book similar to what JMS is doing… 😉 )

  8. Hmmm. My question was one of the unanswered. I asked about the status of Soulsearchers and Claypool.

  9. Claypool is still publishing Soulsearchers, Elvira, and Deadbeats. I order Soulsearchers from Westfield Comics. They have some back issues of some comics if you’ve missed any, but they are primarily sellers of new issues, so I can’t promise anything. Go to: http://www.westfieldcompany.net
Then go to the left side for comics publisher B-D. Good luck.

  10. Dang, I missed the questions. I’m gonna ask ’em here, and hope like the dickens PAD will deign to respond — they’re about next weekend’s Shore Leave convention.

    1) What events will you be participating in, besides the Mystery Trekkie Theatre?

    2) If I gave you $20 for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, would you pose for a picture with me and my website’s mascot, Mr. Duckie? That’s double the going rate for a peek at the tattoo, as I recall..

    J.

  11. My post didn’t even make it to the board. It said that it was my first post, thus it needed to be approved, but it never showed up.

It’s not the first time I haven’t met approval. 🙂

I had asked a question about PAD’s ideas for a Big Trouble in Little China story that he had kicked around.

  12. thank you for answering my Wolverine question. I didn’t even know that there was an editorial direction there.

It certainly looked invisible to me….

of course, something you had nothing to do, the Goodwin/Byrne arc immediately afterwards seemed like an ugly soft reboot of the first arcs in the series as well as the entire status quo.

  13. Yep, it was me at Wondercon.

Although it wasn’t me at I-Con, per what I’m hearing you told as a 25th anniversary anecdote this year. The cookie bit does sound familiar, but on the other hand I’ve only attended one I-Con (where I showed you the Mutantmaniacs filk that you printed in BID).

Oh, and your opener definitely set the tone for the Don Thompson wake panel. As I recall, I got off one almost as edgy from the audience; at one point Michael Davis, who is black, and Harlan were bouncing stuff back and forth and one or the other made a comment about putting Michael at the back of the panel. I yelled out “Well, he already has a separate water pitcher”, which I think is the only time I’ve completely cracked up Harlan.
