There’s a nice interview up with Todd Nauck in which he talks about his three issue stint (which, who knows, may be more; part of it depends on sales, I suppose) on “Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” issues 10-12. I know you’re a big fan of Todd, but I always despised his art style and it was the main reason I dropped Young Justice early on (which was big for me, because I pretty much read everything you write). I know the powers that be felt his style meshed well for a lighter-toned, humorous comic, but I always though Kevin Maguire would have been a better choice. I really hope he doesn’t stay on Spider-Man, past this stint as I’m really enjoying what you’re doing with it. I’d like to recommend Gary Frank if the art spot opens up.

You might want to check out the preview pages on Newsarama. Todd’s work on FNS looks pretty similar to Mike Wieringo’s style to me.
I like Todd’s style. Robin’s inked him a couple times, and his pencils are nice and clear and dynamic.
I can’t wait. Nauck’s artwork is really nice. I flipped through Wildguard when it was on the stands, but didn’t buy it because I wasn’t interested in the concept, but really liked the art that I saw. He has a really nice, clean line to his work.
Does FNS hit the same “fun for kids, fun for parents” sweet-spot that made YJ the most popular book in our house for more than four years? (Come to think of it, now that kid #4 is reading, it’s probably time to pull out the longbox and introduce him to YJ).
I’ve seen him at a few conventions here in Dallas. He’s a real nice guy.
The samples on Newsrama look good. If there’s ever an opening on FNSM.. Grab him!
Ah, the Young Justice team together again. We won’t likely see the characters reuniting in the near future, but this is just as good in a different way.

Wow, I picked up the new Flash today and realized Bart REALLY never will be Impulse again.
When he was Kid Flash it was possible, now its not at all. I miss Young Justice. even with the focus on Empress, Slobo,and Secret.

Nice pencils! Love that crowd scene (FNS #11, pg3). It’s a shame we can’t get two different published versions: one of just pencil art & one finished.
