This “Survivor” guy definitely has the bigger-than-life presence to do well in movies, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if people in Hollywood snap him up. Granted, I don’t know that he can act, but that certainly hasn’t stopped some folks in Hollywood from carving out successful careers.
First and foremost, they’ve GOT to write him into the sequel to “Pirates of the Caribbean.” This is the most natural fit for a role since Shelly Duvall was cast as “Olive Oyl.” After that, no, I wouldn’t cast him as Hagrid because I’m perfectly happy with the current actor in the role. But if anyone in Hollywood has a new version of “The Adventures of Robin Hood” in development, Rupert would be the ideal Little John.

It’s almost a pity Robbie Coltrane is so perfect as Hagrid in the Harry Potter movies. Maybe Rupert can play Crawp when Order of the Phoenix finally gets filmed–or some other as-yet-unknown Hagrid relative…
I dunno. Dye his hair and he’d make a pretty decent Odin, lord of Asgard!

(Stargate: SG-1; the Asgard are aliens along the line of the Roswellian greys. We’ve been shown Thor, Loki, and mebbe a couple of other Norse “gods”. Didn’t know that Asgard was a place in Norse mythology, though.)

Since, if you believe recent polls from California, it seems Mr. Schwarzenegger might not be available for his expected film projects, why not have Rupert play a Terminator in T4? He can play an earlier model terminator that Schwarzenegger’s series–or a later one, I suppose, depending on your view of Schwarzenegger’s place in cyborg-assasin technological development…

Well, if anyone ever buys the television or movie rights to Sir Apropos, there’s plenty of roles for Rupert there. You can fit him with a Scottish accent and play Ronnell or he could wear out his voice as Lord Beliqouse.
Or he can play Isiah Edwards on a Little House on the Prairie revival…

Seriously, it does seem like none of the other contestants have ever watched the show. Rupert seems like he’s the only one who has a clue how to go about playing or winning the game. Maybe he IS a mole!
Ironically enough, he’s PERFECT for a part in the screenplay that I’m working on, but for a part a little, um, closer to possible, how about either Long John Silver or maybe Hotblack from Restaraunt At The End Of The Universe?
