Kathleen and I got married.
One year ago today, we announced to a room of about 300 Italian Star Trek fans (we were overseas for a convention) that Kathleen was pregnant.
Today we’re sitting around watching a deluge outside.
Ah well…two exciting May 26ths out of three ain’t bad.

Hey, the day’s not NEARLY over yet. Be patient — all kinds of exciting things could happen with a deluge outside. (Of course, you may not want some of them…)
And happy anniversary to you both!

It’s your Anniversary…it’s raining outside…you need an indoor activity…
Come on Peter, you’re a creative guy…surely you can think of something to do? 🙂
The baby takes naps right?

Yeah…but her eleven year old sister doesn’t. Nor do Kath’s folks who have come over to visit.

That’s when one goes in search of somewhere more private…i.e. the parking lot, the park, the cemetery…
…I’ve said too much, I think.
As a long time fan of New Frontier, Q-in-Law, X-Factor, Aquaman, Cap Marvel, Spidey 2099 — well, you get the idea — A very happy anniversary! May you have as much joy as you have brought all of us over the years. (We won’t talk about the torture and pain of having to wait months or years for the next installment of said books, comics, etc.!)
Congrats!
James
Two years ago on this date, we were also getting married. (We were in Rome, GA though instead of Atlanta. Two days later,we were beginning our honeymoon at DisneyWorld. Yeah, this day two years ago was much more exciting, though today hasn’t been bad at all. At the very least, the in-laws aren’t here 🙂 .
Happy anniversary, Peter and Kathleen! 🙂
Happy Annualversity, as Popeye would say!

May 26th is a special day. It’s my mom’s birthday.
Happy anniversary!

Happy anniversary, just a few days short of me and my partners 5 year anniversary.
Thanks for writting such great books and comics (esp the Hulk) that helped me get through such long days 😉

See? Kids and in-laws DO kill a sex life!
Happy Anniversary, Peter and Kath!
BTW, what’s the traditional gift for a second anniversary?
Gotta love google and the results…
Traditional Modern
1st Paper Clocks
2nd Cotton China
3rd Leather Crystal, Glass
4th Linen(Silk) Appliances
5th Wood Silverware
6th Iron Wood objects
7th Wool(Copper) Desk sets
Um, given that the in-laws presumably understand why married couples might want to be alone (I’m assuming Kathleen didn’t arrive via Kryptonian rocketship), perhaps suggest that they might want to take the grandkids out to dinner and shopping for a few hours?
Congrats btw.
Happy anniversary!
Happy anniversary to you and Kath. I wish you many more.
Chris
Happy anniversary and congrats on two years. 🙂
Happy Anniversary from me, too 🙂
I hope you had an enjoyable day in spite of the bad weather.
And the day after my own birthday, to boot. Now I’ll always remember your anniversary. Mazel tov!
Oooh, and next year is the LEATHER anniversary.
Pictures //must// be taken… 😉

I was there. One of those 300. Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary!
From an old friend during your direct sales rep days at Marvel, congratulations Peter & Kathleen (and to Matt & Karen Williams who were married here in Rome, Ga!)
Well, please allow this Italian Star Trek fan and fellow hater of the recent weather to extend his sincere congratulations. Here’s to a long and fruitful marriage, Peter.
MOZELTOFF! 🙂
1st Paper Clocks
2nd Cotton China
3rd Leather Crystal
Leather Crystal and Cotton China? Hey, I used to make paper clocks in grade school for art class, but the rest of that stuff is just freaky!
And a happy anniversary to you both! 🙂
I hope you and Kathleen had the very happiest of anniversaries, superceded only by the next few dozens.
