AND DON’T FORGET…

Tonight is “It’s Still A Good Life,” the Twilight Zone sequel starring Bill Mumy and his daughter, Liliana. That’s 9 PM (unless they’re running it in the second half hour) Eastern Standard time, check your local listings. Remember, Bill said he’d be swinging back here tomorrow to hear what you all thought. At exactly 1 AM EST tonight, I’ll start off a journal entry and you guys can sound off.

  1. How’s about a posting a reminder Sunday afternoon as my local UPN station is allowing me the privledge of watching an SEC basketball game and showing the TZ on Sunday evening. Grrrrrr.

  2. I’ll try to catch it tonight. If it’s good, then maybe it’ll snatch-up some new regular viewers.

  3. It was a good episode. Liliana’s performance was very reminiscent of her father’s in the original episode.

How many happy people d’you suppose they’re going to encounter in the Big Apple?

  4. And for those who are so inclined to watch it, I’ve discovered that the Sci-Fi Channel is showing the original “It’s a Good Life” tonight at 11:30 p.m. EST/PST. Since I’m not sure I’ve ever actually seen the whole thing, I’m taping it tonight and watching both episodes back to back later this week!

  5. Please don’t post any spoilers on the main page, as the episode won’t be shown here until nearly 1 a.m. this Sunday.

  6. It’s 1am, where’s the entry? What gives? You said *exactly* 1am!!

(I am kidding; I’m not nearly that anal.)

  7. Superb episode! This is the first time I’ve watched the new TZ and I really enjoyed it. I feel they captured the feeling of the original episode perfectly. And Mr. Mumy, you did a perfect job bring back the character! The Maple Street Installment was very good as well.

  8. Did anyone in the US tape this? I would love to see it but its not being shown in the UK as far as I know.

I would be willing to cover postage and packaging and my VCR does play NTSC tapes.

Give me an email if you can help.

  9. It was badly written, badly acted, and under-scored by ten extra minutes of stupid commercials. Just like all commercial network television is these days.
