I am gonna miss Spider-Man 2099 and I am glad he’s still alive. Will we see him again?
It must be immensely gratifying in a way I cannot imagine to see that someone loved someone who came from your work so much that he or she physically realized the costume, and to such detail.

Is it wrong that I am imagining – and find it utterly hilarious – a scenario of you snarking at a fan dressed as one of your characters (in a friendly manner, of course) with the old “just remember, I made you, I can UN-make you!” parenting line? And then that spins off into the idea of a new supervillain. Peter A David, Writer of Stuff, Destroyer of Worlds!
