It’s interesting what the spin before the debate seems to be with most of the talking heads on most of the channels I’ve been surfing through tonight. The common opinion I’m seeing expressed tends to run along the lines of saying that Hillary must achieve a long laundry list of objectives in order to be perceived as a winner tonight.

With Trump the opinion I’m seeing commonly expressed runs along the lines of saying if he manages to not act like an infantile jáçkášš and avoids having a major meltdown/tantrum, he’s going to be perceived the night’s winner.

It’s interesting how the trend in the last three or three or four presidential elections has been lowering the debate bar more and more for the Republican Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates while keeping it level or raising it for the Democratic candidates.

Any other year I’d think the Republicans out there would be embarrassed by this; especially how far down the bar has been lowered for Trump. But then, Trump is about as much of a Republican as his man-crush Putin, so…
