      1. I was pretty sure based on Lorna’s recruitment scene that something like this was coming, but I didn’t know when. I thankful that you posted this as it gave me a title to search for. I found the interview you did with Marvel on their site.

        Thanx.

  1. Awesome cover, always loved the character. Looking forward to seeing him the most in this book.

    1. O dear.

      I meant the 3 kittens.

One of these days I will remember that my jokes don’t work on the Internet.

  2. All new and all new and Marvel Now…I suppose if they didn’t put all three of those on the cover, you might think it’s a reprint.

    1. Personally, I’m waiting for the Not-Quite-So-New Marvel Later! line to launch, *then* I’ll be on board.

    2. “All-New” isn’t a blurb, it’s the the actual adjective.

Instead of Uncanny X-Factor or Astonishing X-Factor, it’s called All-New X-Factor (aka ANXF). (I’m assuming that it’s a sister book to All-New X-Men, or will have some ties to it somehow).

  3. I haven’t read X-Factor. But this cover has sufficiently intrigued me that I think I”ll be picking these up, at least the first three. 🙂

  4. PAD, you should have opened with an announcement on THIS site about ANXF #1. A lot of people use this blog as their main source of Peter David news, not CBR or Newsarama.

    1. Meanwhile on the CBR theres about eight pages of thread devoted solely to this cover… or more specifically the cats on this cover. With many female readers pledging to buy the comic just for the cats.

So kudos to whoever came up with that design, if the whole comics thing doesn’t work out, you have a bright future in advertising and subliminal marketing…

  5. I’ve been cutting back severely on my comics budget lately, but the combination of PAD, Gambit, and kittens has elevated this title to “Last Comic Standing” if it comes to that. If I have to cobble together $2.99-$3.99 in pennies each month to make that happen, X-Factor (All-New or otherwise) will always have a place on the reading pile.
