Up in Canada

Just here for two days and will be back in time for Caroline’s birthday. Working with a video company up here (can’t tell you which one) to produce a new video game (can’t tell you which one.) Once I’m free to tell you more info, I’ll be here to provide it.

Meanwhile it seems DC is getting closer to moving to Burbank. I’ve been hearing about this for years but now it seems matters are coming to a head.

  1. Speaking of video games, when will your graphic novel adaptation of Epic Mickey 2 be out? The game’s been out for a few weeks, I think. And are you doing more Tales of Wasteland short digital comics?

      1. Speaking of never, that’s pretty much how many of your video games I’ve yet to play.

Now I can sort of understand why the first Epic Mickey wasn’t released to the PC sine it was Wii exclusive, but it looks like the second one was released for every system but. And then of course there’s Activision’s decision yet again to screw over there PC fanbase and not release Spidey: Edge of Time. A game I was rly looking forward to playing.

While your up there working with said mystery company, how about telling em to spread the pc loving.

  2. DC moving to Burbank? I have the feeling that there’s a “New 52” joke in there somewhere, but I can’t think of it for the life of me.

  3. Good luck with the video game (can’t tell you which one). I hope I can purchase a copy of it soon as my local retailer (can’t tell you which one) as a gift for my nephews and nieces (can’t tell you which ones).

Happy Holidays (can’t tell you which ones)!

  4. Time Warner owns several buildings in Manhattan, including the massive Time Warner Center. I think they would find room for DC if they wanted. Sounds more like the Movie/TV arm wants more control/oversight over the comics.

  5. Peter, not to be rude, but what information do you have about DC moving, to Burbank or anywhere else? As far as I know, you haven’t worked there in years, and most of the people who DO work there have no such awareness. What makes you so certain this is going to happen? If this is rumour, it affects a lot of people, and the repeating of said rumours can scare the hëll out of people.

  6. Wait, you’re in Canada to talk videogames?

Coming in 2013: The McKenzie Brothers in “Beer Run.”

  7. DC Entertainment is moving to Burbank. DC Comics is staying in New York. I guess that means DC’s licensing and merchandising arm is going to Burbank.

  8. Peter, do you write any Disney comics? I know you did the Little Mermaid limited series for Disney back when they took over their own brand in the 90’s. Are there any you’d like to write?
