For those who have iPads, iPhones, and similar i-Products, the app for the “Epic Mickey” digicomics–written by yours truly–have gone live. The comics are set before the events detailed in the upcoming “Epic Mickey” video game, depicting the world of Wasteland (populated by forgotten Disney characters) before the great Thinner Disaster that lays the groundwork for the game.
My personal favorite is “The Rubbish Cup,” which is basically a love letter to the late, lamented Adventurers Club. Check it out.

I’m not a Disneyphile, nor will I be following the Wii tie-in game, so these “Tales of Wasteland” stories (and the forthcoming graphic adaptation of Epic Mickey) are both my introduction to these characters, and the only format in which I’ll experience the Epic Mickey-verse.

That said, I just wanted to let you know that you succeeded in presenting this world to me in an entertaining and informative way. That’s the most fun I’ve yet had reading on my borrowed iPad.

I am excited to read this! I always wonder what happens to 2nd and 3rd tier characters. When my wife and I got married in Disney World, my wife kept telling me about rides from times past like “Mr. Toads Wild Ride” and I started to wonder what happened to him and other characters who fell from the lime light.
Stupid question for everyone: I don’t have an i-anything, so is there any way at all that I can view these comics? I’m so excited for the release of Epic Mickey, and I really don’t want to miss these back-stories. Please help!
